Abstract: A key transmission system for redistributing broadcast contents and a method thereof are provided to enable a provides, who provides CAS, to prevent the illegal conversion of broadcast contents by defining the relation of keys in the creation of an encryption key and crating an encrypted key while protecting the copyright information included in original broadcast contents. A broadcast sever generates a CAS key based on a mater key received from a DRM sever(S410), and encrypts real-time broadcasting contents into a CAS key, which changes to a specific time period, based on a CAS key. The broadcast sever transmits a CA message including the encrypted real-time broadcasting contents and CAS key information(S430). The broadcast receiving terminal restores the CAS key from the CA message and decodes the encrypted broadcasting contents(S440). The broadcasting receiving terminal receives a master key and a security profile from the DRM sever and creates a standard profile based on the security profile. In addition, the broadcasting receiving terminal converts the decoded broadcasting contents into DRM broadcasting contents by re-encrypting the decoded broadcasting contents(S450).

Abstract: A method for performing push-based AD(ADvertisement) in an IP(Internet Protocol)-based image service is provided to enable a broadcasting server to assign not all of network bandwidths to provide AD contents by enabling a broadcasting server to transmit the AD contents through a spare network bandwidth and providing the AD contents stored in an AD database of an STB(Set-Top Box) during a channel zapping time occurring when a channel changes. 3. 발명의 해결 방법의 요지
