PURPOSE: A method for providing a social network service using social activities, a method thereof, and a system thereof are provided to comprise a multi-aspect social network suitable for time and a space based on an analysis result by collecting and analyzing user activities for providing a social network service. CONSTITUTION: A profile generation unit generates a user activity profile by collecting social activities of a user. The profile generation unit generates a user profile by connecting the user activity profile and a user information profile(210). PURPOSE: A message managing method using semantic location information is provided to search for a message, which is suitable for a specific place, in a receiving mail box of a user and to position the message on top of a display device. CONSTITUTION: A mobile terminal(300) transmits location information to a semantic location information server(400). The semantic location information server generates a keyword corresponding to the location information of the mobile terminal. The semantic position information server offers the keyword to the mobile terminal. The mobile terminal changes a display order of one or more messages based on the keyword.

PURPOSE: A device for sharing content and a method thereof are provided to effectively manage the distributed social content which is stored in a plurality of mobile devices, thereby implementing a reliable social media service. CONSTITUTION: A query managing unit(100) inputs a query corresponding to content search from a user terminal. A filtering engine unit(300) classifies the content which a plurality of terminals includes into the content for a social community and the content for a non-social community. A content managing unit(400) generates a sharing content list based on content information for the social community. A customized engine unit(200) generates a content list optimized for each user.

PURPOSE: A suffix tree indexing method and apparatus thereof in a social network are provided to efficiently group uses on social network at high speed using suffix tree indexing method. CONSTITUTION: A common prefix is partitioned by scanning inputted string. The partition is processed by non-merged suffix tree(S106). Partition information is stored in suffix tree index. A suffix node of non-merged suffix tree is stored(S108). A prefix tree is constructed(S110).

PURPOSE: A social media content sharing apparatus and a method thereof are provided to enable a user to add desired information to a content. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for sharing social media content includes a content management unit(100) for extracting profile information about the sharable content by analyzing the sharable content and generating social media content by associating the extracted profile information about the sharable content with profile information about a user to store the generated social media content in a database(110). Further, the apparatus for sharing the social media content includes a content searching unit(120) for extracting an initial sample by searching the database based on keywords requested to be searched for in response to a search request of a user and searching for the sample by comparing profile information about each piece of content included in the initial sample with one of the keywords.

PURPOSE: A content recommendation list providing system based on a place and a society is provided to supply a high reliability content recommendation list by providing content list to the user based on a preferred content list of another user related to a user. CONSTITUTION: A data manager(103) updates user data of a user to an existing user data. The data manager collects at least one among the user data, the tag information of the user data, and the tag information of the content. A list generator(106) searches content based on tag information of preference content included in a user data of another user. The list generator generates content recommendation list based on the searched content.

A receiver capable of conducting execution management of plural receiving control software objects in a downloading-based receiving limitation system and an execution management method are provided to drive a lot of receiving control software in one contents receiver, and to have a receiving limitation function for fast conversion between channels. A receiving control software manager(260) conducts overall management including downloading, execution, state control, and termination of a lot of receiving control software. A download unit(270) downloads the receiving control software from an external server according to a request of the manager. A demultiplexer(250) receives scrambled multimedia contents and a receiving control message, and delivers the message to the manager. A descrambler(210) receives a descrambling key extracted from the message by the receiving control software, and descrambles the scrambled multimedia contents.

A device and a method for managing multimedia metadata are provided to store and manage preceding metadata extracted from an extended IGMP(Internet Group Management Protocol) message by extending an IGMP message and containing the preceding metadata to the extended IGMP message. An IGMP snooping processor(320) generates an IGMP snooping table based on an extended IGMP report message, which includes preceding metadata received from an IP(Internet Protocol) broadcasting reception terminal. An IGMP metadata processor(310) forms a metadata table including the preceding metadata based on the extended IGMP report message and the IGMP snooping table. An IGMP message processor(330) transmits the preceding metadata extracted from the metadata table to the IP broadcasting reception terminal in response to an IGMP report message for requesting the preceding metadata.
