Abstract: PURPOSE: A unified speech/audio coder(USAC) processing windows sequence based mode switching is provided to perform encoding or decoding by processing different window sequences for different situation, thereby improving coding efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A mode switching unit performs inter-linear prediction domain mode switching for the sub-frames which constitute a frame of an input signal. An encoding unit applies a window sequence to current encoding subframes, wherein the window sequence is based on a switched LPD(Linear Prediction Domain) mode. In addition, the encoding unit applies a changed window sequence to the current encoding subframe according to the LPD modes of previous and following subframes.

Abstract: PURPOSE: An encoding/decoding apparatus using unidirectional prediction is provided to the encoded capacity of image by efficiently encoding the image. CONSTITUTION: A partition unit(1210) partitions macroblock into a plurality of sub blocks. A uni-direction application determiner(1220) determines whether the same prediction mode is applied to the sub blocks. A prediction mode determiner(1230) determines a prediction mode of each sub block according to determination. A prediction mode encoder(1250) stores application information of the same prediction mode and the determined prediction mode.

상기 카운터를 이용하여 원본 데이터를 소정 크기로 분할하기 위하여 버퍼 메모리에 저장하는 단계; 상기 카운터를 이용하여 상기 버퍼 메모리에 저장된 원본 데이터를 분할하여 출력하는 단계; 상기 분할되어 출력되는 데이터에 대한 소정 처리를 완료한 후, 원본 데이터와 같은 크기로 재구성하기 위하여 버퍼 메모리 번지를 나타내는 카운터를 이용하여 버퍼 메모리에 저장하는 단계; 및 상기 버퍼 메모리 번지를 나타내는 카운터를 이용하여 버퍼 메모리에 저장되어 있는 데이터를 원본 데이터의 크기와 같은 크기로 재구성하는 단계;를 포함함.
