Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for controlling trouble for throttle position sensor is provided to control fuel by detecting the acceleration and the deceleration of an engine with a signal of an HFM(Hot Film type Air flow sensor) at defect of a throttle position sensor. CONSTITUTION: In discriminating as a short by checking an input signal from a throttle position sensor(S110), the high load area of an engine is checked based on the temperature of coolant and of inflow air(S110). In discriminating as the high load area, an HFM is read and filtered(S130,S140). A compensation air amount is operated based on the filtered HFM signal(S150). An amplitude for the HFM signal is operated and an amplitude change amount of the HFM is operated for the operated amplitude(S160,S170). The amplitude change amount is compared with a first reference value(S180). If the amplitude change amount is larger than the first reference value, a changed amount of the filtered HFM signal is operated(S190). If the changed amount of the HFM signal is larger than a second reference value(S200), a fuel compensation is performed with an accelerating fuel amount by discriminating as an acceleration(S210,S220). If the amplitude change amount is smaller than the first reference value, the amplitude change amount is compared with a third reference value(S230). If the amplitude change amount is smaller than the third reference value, the changed amount of the HFM signal is operated. If the changed amount of the HFM signal is smaller than a fourth reference value(S250), the fuel compensation is performed with a decelerating fuel amount by discriminating as a deceleration(S260,S270). Thereby, the stop of the engine is prevented.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A calculating method of fuel temperature for a vehicle is provided to cut down expenses by operating the initial value of fuel temperature with modeling soak time according to coolant temperature, and by operating fuel temperature during traveling with compensating the return amount of fuel and external air temperature. CONSTITUTION: The operation of an engine is detected(S10), and temperature of coolant is read after operating the engine(S11). Soak time is modeled based on coolant temperature(S12), and compared with the critical value(S13). The initial value of fuel temperature is operated with reading suction air temperature in case of the soak time to be over the critical value(S15), and external air is modeled(S16). The present fuel amount in a fuel tank is measured by reading a fuel level signal(S18), and the fuel amount consumed in a driving cycle is operated(S19). The fuel amount returned to the fuel tank is operated(S20), and the fuel temperature is compensated by calculating the return amount of fuel(S22). Fuel temperature is compensated according to external air temperature(S23), and the fuel temperature is calculated with adding the compensated fuel temperature according to the fuel amount to the compensated temperature according to external air temperature(S24). Expenses are reduced with calculating the fuel temperature during traveling.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for reducing firing of an engine is provided to prevent the error for detecting the fire in the engine by detecting the fire with adjusting fuzzy amount when a period of oxygen sensor is irregularly varied.
