    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a non-crystalline polyolefin film excellent in surface smoothness and mechanical characteristics without deteriorating optical characteristics such as double refraction by laminating a layer of non-crystalline polyolefin with a low MW to at least the single surface of a layer of a non-crystalline polyolefin polymet with a high MW in thickness of 0.1mum or more. CONSTITUTION:A non-crystalline polyolefin film is constituted by laminating a layer composed of a non-crystalline polyolefin polymer B with a low MW to at least the single surface of a layer composed of a non-crystralline polymer A with a high MW in thickness of 0.1mum or more. The non-crystalline polyolefin polymer B is laminated to the single surface or both surfaces of the layer of the polymer A but pref. laminated to both surfaces thereof because the curl of the film after molding is prevented and effect for reducing double refraction is shown. The thickness of one layer of the polymer B is 0.1mum or more and 20% or less of the whole thickness of the film from an aspect keeping the mechanical strength of the film as a whole and making the surface of the film sufficiently smooth.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce the thickness irregularity and bowing of a film and to enhance the blocking resistance thereof by pref. laminating a polyester film with specific DELTATcg to both surfaces of a highly crystalline polyester film with specific DELTATcg. CONSTITUTION:A laminated film is formed by laminating polyester film B-layers to both surfaces of a highly crystalline polyester film A-layer in a state B/A/B. It is necessary that the crystallizing parameter DELTATcg of a highly crystalline polyester film A is 25-45 deg.C and said film A is pref. based on polybutylene terephthalate. The DELTATcg of the polyester film B-layers is pref. 50 deg.C or higher. The thickness of the highly crystalline A-layer is pref. 4-14% with respect to the total thickness of the laminated polyester film. No effect is developed when the thickness of the highly crystalline polyester film A-layer is below 4% and, when said thickness exceeds 14%, the stretchability of the film becomes inferior.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the title sheet which has necessary flexibility, desirable breaking extension and desirable residual stress and does not produce any noxious gases even when burnt by using a flexible film prepared from a copolyester of a specified DELTATcg. CONSTITUTION:A sheet for interior decoration, produced from a flexible film prepared from a copolyester of a DELTATcg of 60 deg.C or below [e.g. a copolyester containing at least two kinds of diol component residues selected from HO-(CH2)2n-OH (wherein (n) is 1-10) as an alcohol component and containing 40-99mol%, based on the total acid component, aromatic dicarboxylic acid residues and 60-1mol% long-chain aliphatic dicarboxylic acid residues) and having a Young's modulus in tension of 0.1-50kg/mm . This sheet has necessary flexibility, desirable breaking extension and desirable residual stress is free from the problem of deterioration due to bleed-out of plasticizer and sanitariness because it is not plasticized, does not produce any noxious gases even when burnt, and is very desirable for use in a large quantity.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the planeness and the thermal dimensional stability of a film concerned by a method wherein thermoplastic film is floatingly run along the arcuate surface of a hot air blowing-off means having an arcuate profile just after its biaxial stretching so as to carry out heat treatment biaxially during its floating running. CONSTITUTION:Un-stretched film 1 is stretched lenghwise in longitudinal. stretching process, in which a plurality of rolls and the like are arranged, pre- heated in the pre-heating zone 4 of a stenter 3 and, after that, stretched widthwise in its stretching zone 5. Next, the resultant biaxially stretched thermoplastic film 6 is heat-treated (for example, relaxation-treated) lengthwise and widthwise simultaneously with a floating type heat-treating means 7. Concretely, the film 6, which is introduced through a guide roll 8 into the floating type heat-treating process, is floatingly run in arcuate fashion along the arcuate surface of a hot air blowing-off means 1.0 having a plurality of hot air blowing- off nozzles 9 and an arcuate profile so as to heat-treat the film lengthwise and widthwise during its floating running. After that, the film is taken up to a spool 18 on a core 17.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce troubles during printing caused by a change in environment and improve reproducibility by a method wherein a sublimable thermal transfer material is made superior in adhesion with sublimable ink and maintains an initial adhesion even at a high humidity, and the migration of the sublimable dye to an easy-adhesion layer is reduced. CONSTITUTION:An easy-adhesion film mainly composed of an acrylic resin having one or more kinds of crosslinking functional groups and a silane coupling agent having amino group is applied on a surface of a polyester film. A sublimable ink layer is formed on said coating surface. An easy-slip layer is formed on the surface of the polyester film oppositely to the ink layer.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain an agricultural covering film freed from any plasticizer and improved in persistence of transparency, flexibility, etc., by using a copolyester film specified in DELTATcg, Young's modulus in tension, haze and the wet tensile strength of the surface. CONSTITUTION:A mixture is obtained by mixing a copolyester having an intrinsic viscosity of 0.5-2.0dl/g, a melting point of 130-250 deg.C and a glass transition temperature of 10 deg.C or below, containing residues of at least two diol components desirably selected from compounds of the formula as an alcohol component, and comprising 40-99mol%, based on the total acid component, aromatic dicarboxylic acid residues and 60-1mol% long-chain aliphatic dicarboxylic acid residues with optionally an antioxidant, an antistatic agent, an inorganic filler, etc. This mixture is molded to obtain the title covering material having a DELTATcg (a difference between the cooling crystallization temperature and the glass transition temperature) of 60 deg.C or below, a Young's modules in tension of 0.1-50kg/mm , a haze of 5% or below, and a wet tensile strength of the surface of 35dyn/cm or above.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To enhance processability, printing finish and vapor deposition gloss and to obtain blocking resistance by specifying the m.p. difference between polyester A and polyester B constituting an [A] layer and a [B] layer and setting the quasi-crystalline fusion temp. of a film to the range from the fusion start temp. of polyester (B) to the fusion completion temp. of polyester B. CONSTITUTION:A laminated polyester film consists of an A-layer composed of polyester A and a B-layer composed of polyester B and is characterized by that the m.p. difference between polyester A and polyester B is 15-50 deg.C and has quasi-crystalline fusion temp. set to the range from the fusion start temp. of polyester B to the fusion completion temp. of polyester B. At this time, when the m.p. difference between polyester A and polyester B is too less than the above-mentioned range, adhesiveness lowers and, when said m.p. difference is too large, blocking properties become high and a problem is generated from a practical aspect. When the fusion peak temp. of polyester B 18 220-240 deg.C and the glass transition temp. thereof is within the range of 45-70 deg.C, pref., 50-65 deg.C, film forming properties become pref.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a polyester film having suppleness and excellent in transparence and stability to size by a method wherein said film is made of thermoplastic polyester, and its crystalline size and a Young's modulus in tension are specified. CONSTITUTION:The title film is made of thermoplastic polyester, its crystalline size being 18Angstrom or larger and 50Angstrom or smaller, Tgfp being 3 deg.C or higher, and a Young's modulus in tension being 0.1-50 kg/mm (in this case, Tgfp is the difference between the glass transition temperature (Tgf) of a polyester film and the glass transition temperature (Tgp) of resin which is a constituent of said polyester film). Preferable resin includes one which consists of an acid component having 50-95mol% of an aromatic dicarboxylic acid and 5-50mol% of an aliphatic dicarboxylic acid, and a glycol component comprising essentially 1,4-butanediol. Especially, it is preferable that the ratio of 1,4-butanediol included in the glycol component is 50-70mol%.
