Abstract:
Abstract:
The invention relates to an apparatus (1) for opening and closing a door (2) which is arranged so that it can slide on a vehicle (3). The apparatus comprises an engaging element (5), such as a cable, connected to the door (2), and a drive wheel (6) designed to act upon the engaging element (5). A transmission (7) is operatively connected to the drive wheel (6) and the transmission (7) is designed to transmit power to the drive wheel (6) via at least a first gear and a second gear. In one embodiment the transmission may have a neutral position so that the drive wheel (6) can rotate freely. A position sensor (8) is connected to the sliding door (2) in order to detect when the sliding door (2) has reached a predetermined position in the door opening. The transmission (7) then changes gear from the first gear to the second gear. The invention also relates to a vehicle provided with the apparatus according to the invention and to a method of fitting the apparatus according to the invention to a vehicle.
Abstract:
The invention relates to an automatic door or window system that comprises a sliding door drive (2) and two sliding panels (1) that are driven in opposite directions. A plurality of electrical functional units and the drive unit (31) are arranged along the sliding rail (72) of the drive. The sliding panel (1) is movably guided in the sliding rail (72) by means of rollers. The aim of the invention is to provide automatic door or window systems that are versatile and compact in design. To this end, the sliding rail (72) comprises a bus unit (4) that transmits data and/or signals between the electrical functional units and/or between the electrical functional units and the drive unit (31).
Abstract:
Disclosed is a fire door consisting of a functional set including at least one revolving door and a sliding door fixed thereto. The sliding door, which is designed for automatic horizontal move, comprises an auxiliary drive which in a danger situation sets the sliding door in an open position and at the same time the wing revolving door in the regulatory closed position.
Abstract:
A device for automatically controlling the operation of a sliding door for a vehicle, the sliding door being mounted on a side of the vehicle body so as to automatically be operated by a driving source such as a motor and freedom and safety incompatible with each other being able to be controlled, the device comprising a door driving portion having a motor rotatable in forward and reverse directions, motor load detecting means for detecting the load of the motor, door position detecting means for detecting a door position within a range from a fully opened position to a fully closed position, door speed detecting means for detecting the travelling speed of the door, storing means for storing the load of the motor when the vehicle body is in a normal posture as a specific load of the motor associated with the position of the door by correlating the motor load detecting means with the door position detecting means and motor control means for controlling electric power supplied to the motor, while detecting a motor speed, by a deviation between a motor load stored for a specific door position and a motor load for driving the door at that position.
Abstract:
An open and close control device for a horizontally slidable vehicle door (20). The device includes a horizontal endless screw (32) which is rotatably movably held within a rail (34) on the vehicle body above or below the door. The screw engages a threaded aperture in a slide (36) which is translationally movable within said rail, and may also be rotated by a rotary electromotive device (30). The slide (36) is connected to the door (20) via a gas-damped connecting rod (38) which is preferably at an angle of less than 25° to said endless screw.
Abstract:
The sliding door comprises, for example, two wings coupled to a motor-driven belt transmission. The wings are also linked to an auxiliary drive powered by their closing movement by means of which they can be taken to the open position as a result of the cutting off of the power to the electromagnetic coupling. Here a self-monitoring supplementary electronic control system is connected to the standard control system activatable by a program switch to move the door wings automatically. At least one inward-movement detector and an end switch are allocated to the door safety unit to monitor the opening movement of the sliding door based on an opening pulse from the movement detector and for the purposes of an automatic functional test on the auxiliary drive and for providing automatic safety to monitor the opening of the sliding door and the functional test. The monitoring test on the door installation is performed via a cycle program.
Abstract:
An opener for sliding panel closure (15) of a wall opening has a toothed belt (30) horizontally disposed between a toothed sprocket (38) and an arcuate grooved shoe (39) located within a threshold plate (27) extending across the opening adjacent a channel strip within which the panel slides. A bracket (31) attaches the panel (15) to the belt (30) which moves the panel between closed and open positions by a shaft (43) coupled through an electrical clutch (49) between the sprocket (38) and a motor (52). A solenoid driven armature (57) raises and lowers a pin (58) relative to the sprocket teeth to lock panel movement. A handle (64) and latch (65) provides override to unlock the panel for manual operation. The motor, clutch, solenoid and all other electrical components are separately housed (28) marginally of the opening, at a location above the threshold to protect them from water.
