Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep piston slidability excellent for a long period by suppressing solidifying a pigment constituent of a paint even when the paint intrudes into an annular gap.
SOLUTION: A piston 19 in a paint tank 12 has a structure provided with a communication path 22 communicating an annular gap 21 on the side of the outer periphery with a push liquid housing chamber 15. Therefore, push liquid in the push liquid housing chamber 15 is led to the annular gap 21 by the communication path 22 so that the pressure in the annular gap 21 is approximately the same as that of the push liquid housing chamber 15 to prevent the paint from intruding into the annular gap 21 from a paint housing chamber 14. In addition, the pigment constituent of the paint can be kept always in a liquid state by the push liquid in the annular gap 21 even if the paint intrudes into the annular gap 21.
