Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for calculating the charging amount of a vehicle battery is provided to prevent an increase of charging amount errors caused by battery property variation. CONSTITUTION: A main controller receives current battery information such as charging amount, a battery current, and a battery voltage from a battery controller(S11). The main controller determines whether the current charging amount is less than the standard charging amount by comparing the current charging amount with the standard charging amount(S12). The main controller compares an alternator generation rate with a preset generation rate reference value(S13). If the alternator generation rate is less than the reference value, the main controller compares the current battery current and voltage with each reference value(S14,S15). If the battery current is less than the reference value and the battery voltage is more than the reference value, the main controller counts a time from now on(S16). When a battery property variation state is sensed, the main controller outputs a modification command for modifying an SOC-OCV map to the battery controller(S17,S18). Abstract: PURPOSE: A fuel shutoff device and method of an LPG vehicle is provided to prevent lowering of starting performance without waiting for a minute until residual fuel of a vaporizer is completely burned and the engine is stopped. CONSTITUTION: A fuel shutoff device and method of an LPG(Liquefied Petroleum Gas) vehicle comprises a vehicle motion state-detecting unit(100) of detecting the motion state of a vehicle changing according to a change of the motion state of a vehicle; an engine control unit(200); and a driving unit(300). The engine control unit outputs a predetermined control signal to receive a signal detected from the vehicle motion state-detecting unit, receives the state of a parking brake switch, neutral position of a gear lever, external temperature, the state of an ignition, and the angle of a crank, decides a state of engine idle state holding-condition satisfaction state if the ignition is off, performs off-control to a first and a second solenoid valve(310,320), outputs an ignition-off signal, and outputs a predetermined signal to perform off-control for engine control. The driving unit shuts off the first and second solenoid valve and delivers a predetermined radio signal of informing that ignition is normally off.
