    Abstract: PURPOSE: A clamping device of an air cleaner is provided to prevent the breakdown of the air cleaner and to improve the durability of goods by partially opening an upper cover by pressure applied on the air cleaner in generating flashback and by discharging and eliminating explosion pressure caused by the flashback. CONSTITUTION: In an air cleaner of which upper and lower covers(1,2) are mutually combined, a clamping device of the air cleaner comprises a connecting bracket(10), a first spring(15), a guide bracket(20), a tie bolt(23), a tie nut(24), and a second spring(25). The connecting bracket includes a first arm bracket(11) combined with the side of a second arm bracket(12) by a hinge(13); a combining part(14) vertically formed at the lower end of the first arm bracket, and welded and combined to the edge of the lower cover; and an inserting hole(16) arranged at the upper end of the second arm bracket and inserted with the tie bolt of the guide bracket. The first spring is installed between the first and second arm brackets to strain the second arm bracket. The end of the guide bracket is combined with a combining surface(21), which is welded and combined to the edge of the upper cover, by a hinge(22). The tie bolt is vertically protruded in the center of the guide bracket. The tie nut thread-combined to the tie bolt tightens to make the second arm bracket constrain the upper cover. The second spring is interposed between the tie nut and the second arm bracket to press the second arm bracket.

CONSTITUTION: A filter protecting device of a fuel tank is composed of a fixed pipe(26) having a round extended part(27) to supply fuel; a moving pipe(30) containing the fixed pipe, connecting to a filter net(22), and having a spring(32) supporting the fixed pipe elastically; a detecting switch(40) detecting contact of the lower part of the filter net and a lower plate(21) of a fuel tank and the position of the filter net with a detecting rod(43) and a contact point; and an operating unit(50) moving the moving pipe according to the contact point of the detecting switch and the fuel amount. The damage of the filter is prevented with restricting the lower part of the filter net from being bumped into the lower plate of the fuel tank by adjusting the height of the driving pipe.
