    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a mold release agent superior in a reduction of surface foams and peeling properties, by a method wherein the mold release agent is constituted mainly of a liquid water-repellent substance and surface-active agent and specifies interfacial tension with water. CONSTITUTION:The title mold release agent is constituted mainly of a liquid water-repellent substance and a surface-active agent dissolving into the same, mineral oil or animal and vegetable oil or oils and fats or fatty acid or silicone oil are available as the water-repellent substance and interfacial tension with water is controlled to 5-20 dyne/cm by compounding of the surface-active agent. Although the surface-active agent is not limited especially, for example, an oil-soluble surface-active agent such as polyoxyethylene alkyl ether is preferable. Then, since a matter whose HLB is not exceeding 9 is used, an improvement in peeling properties is high, contamination of a concrete shuttering after demolding can be reduced remarkably.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency in injecting a hardener without decreasing the reference strength by mixing a specified amt. of a phosphoric acid salt into the cement admixture for the extra-high pressure jet injection process based on a naphthalenesulfonate-formalin condensate. CONSTITUTION:A naphthalenesulfonate-formalin condensate and a phosphate (e.g. sodium tripolyphosphate) are mixed to produce a cement admixture for the extra-high pressure jet injection process. In this case, 30-95 pts.wt. of the condensate and 70-5 pts.wt. of the phosphate are appropriately mixed. About 0.2-4wt.% of the admixture based on the cement in a cement-based hardener and expressed in terms of the effective component is added to the hardener such as portland cement and blast-furnace cement, hence higher fluidity is imparted to the hardener, and the effect in reducing the viscosity of the clay is improved.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a concrete compsn. for self-filling having improved flowability, separation inhibiting characteristics and initial strength by mixing a high performance water-reducing agent with cement, fly ash and small aggregate in a specified weight ratio. CONSTITUTION:A high performance water-reducing agent such as a naphtha lenesulfonate-formaldehyde condensation product is mixed with cement (C), fly ash (F) and small aggregate (S) so as to satisfy conditions represented by equations I-II and a concrete compsn. for self-filling having >=55cm slump flow value stipulated by JIS-A1101 is produced. The proper amt. of the water-reducing agent used is 0.6-3 wt.% (expressed in terms of the effective component) of the amt. of the cement (C). The produced concrete compsn. unnecessitates compaction by vibration with a vibrator, etc., and is very effective in reducing noise and rationalizing production.

CONSTITUTION:A mixture of 50-95 pts.wt. one or two or more compounds expressed by formulas I, II or III with 50-5 pts.wt. one or two or more compounds expressed by formula IV, V or VI is used as an additive for a refractory. In formula I, R1 is 8-18C straight-chain or branched primary or secondary hydrocarbon group and n is 3-50. In formula II, R2 is 6-12C hydrocarbon group and m is 3-50. In formula III, R3 is 12-18C hydrocarbon group and 11 and 12 are 1-10. In formulas IV, V and VI, R4, R5 and R6 are 10-18C hydrocarbon group and X is acid radical or halogen. The aforementioned additive is used in an amount within the range of about 0.5-5wt.% based on raw materials for the refractory.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a mix reduced in retarding action and capable of keeping the flowability of concrete for a long time by adding a cement admixture containing copolymer of specific olefin and dicarboxylic acid, its hardly water- soluble salt and water-decreasing agent after kneading. CONSTITUTION:A cement admixture containing, as effective components, a copolymer of 2-8C olefin and ethylene unsaturated dicarboxylic acid or/and a hardly water-soluble salt of the copolymer in granular state and a water- decreasing agent for cement is used. This admixture is added, after kneading, to a kneaded material in which cement, water, and aggregate are mixed and kneaded. By this method, a fluidizing effect equal to that in the case of simultaneous addition at the time of kneading can be obtained by the additive quantity of about 70% based on that in the case of simultaneous addition mentioned above. As the above copolymer, e.g. an isobutylene.maleic anhydride copolymer (about 9000 molecular weight) powder is used.
