A motorised drive device for a door leaf which has a door leaf shaft (6) coupled thereto, to which the drive shaft (26) of a drive motor unit (5) contained in a drive housing (25) is connected via a torque transmission device contained in a gear casing (2, 3), which has an input shaft (7) connected to the drive shaft (26) of the drive motor unit (5) and an output shaft (8) connected to the door leaf shaft (6) which, looking perpendicularly to the longitudinal axis of these shafts (7, 8), is at a distance from the input shaft amounting to a multiple of the sum of the half-diameters of the intercoupled gear wheels arranged on these shafts. To reduce the torque-determined holding load for the drive unit (5), the drive casing (25) of the drive motor unit (5) is maintained fixed and secured (29, 30) to the transmission casing (2, 3) of the torque transmission device so as not to rotate in such a way that torques between the door leaf shaft (6) and the drive shaft (26) are exerted in the manner of a rigid lever.

La boucle décrite par la chaîne se situant dans un plan vertical, le guide-chaîne (14) revêt la forme d'un auget (36) dont le fond comporte une arête centrale droite (40) servant à supporter la chaîne (10) par ses rouleaux (42) de telle sorte que les maillons (44) ne viennent au contact ni du fond ni des côtés de l'auget. Le guide-chaîne (14) est supporté indirectement par les coulisseaux (26) du méchanisme d'ouverture de la porte, étant monté sur une entretoise fixe (46) à rail dans une configuration donnée ou porté par le chariot mobile (12) dans une autre.

This invention relates to an overhead door assembly, suitable in particular for use in said vehicles, comprising an overhead door vertical guide members (33-38) for guiding the overhead door in vertical direction and horizontal guide members for guiding the overhead door in horizontal direction, as well as driving means (11,18) for opening and closing the door. According to the invention the vertical guide means and the driving means cooperate with each other and with the overhead door in such a way that when the overhead door is being closed, it is brought before a door opening to be closed off, by said driving means and subsequently is brought into a position where it closes off the door opening substantially by the vertical guide means through a plugging movement.

Provided is a small plug door device capable of performing an opening/closing operation and a plugging operation with a door drive mechanism for causing a force in a vehicle front-rear direction to act on a door, and further applicable also to a one-panel sliding door. A slide base 12 is installed slidably in a vehicle width direction relative to a fixed base 11. A door drive mechanism 13 for moving one door 104 in a vehicle front-rear direction via a connecting portion 19 has a drive portion 13a including an electric motor 21, a drive wheel member 13b, a follower wheel member 13c, and an endless member 13d, and is installed on the slide base 12. A guide portion 15 guides a shaft portion 14 provided on the connecting portion 19 so as to move the shaft portion 14 in a vehicle width direction. In a double-speed rail 16 in which a pinion 16c is disposed between two racks (16a, 16b), one rack 16b is connected to the slide base 12, the other rack 16a is connected to the door 104 side, and the pinion 16c is connected to the connecting portion 19.

A system of ejecting a sliding door of a closet, comprising a plurality of ejection assemblies and a connecting mechanism, which connects one assembly to the other. Each ejection assembly comprises a rail and a slidable member configured to slide along the rail, where the rail engages with a frame of the closet. The connecting mechanism allows synchronizing the ejection force applied upon the door at different locations of the door, by connecting the ejection assemblies through the connecting mechanism. This configuration allows ejecting and retrieving of the door outwardly and inwardly by sliding the slidable member of each assembly along the rail.

A retrofit conversion kit for facilitating the conversion of a door operating apparatus conventionally mounted above the door, to a position mounted and anchored underground for operating a swinging door therefrom. The conversion to an anchored underground position is facilitated by incorporating positional adjustment mechanisms covering any or all possible adjustment dimensions.

A drive mechanism is provided for a door operator, comprising a drive member and a driven member. The drive member includes a protrusion, the edges of the protrusion forming first and second driving surfaces which define a free space of at least about 90° there between. The driven member includes a protrusion, the sides of the protrusion form a first and a second driven surface, respectively. The drive member is adapted to be operably connected to between a motor assembly for rotating the drive member and a door closer assembly rotating with the driven member. The drive member and the driven member are disposed for relative rotation in substantially the same plane such that the driven member protrusion moves in the free space defined by the driving surfaces of the drive member protrusion. Rotation of the drive member from a first angular orientation to a second angular orientation in a direction toward an adjacent driven surface causes rotation of the driven member for powered opening of the door from the closed position to the open position. The driven member protrusion moves in the free space without engaging the protrusion surfaces when the door is opened manually from the closed position and allowed to close.

A method for installing a retrofit conversion kit for converting a door operating apparatus from overhead use to underground use and for operating a swinging door while protecting the door apparatus against moisture and dust encroachment within its underground location. A seal arrangement provides this contamination encroachment protection.
