    Abstract: A door assembly for an aircraft includes a door, a door handle, a door hinge, a support assembly, and a lifting assembly. The door handle is rotatable between an unlatched position and a latched position. The support assembly rotatably mounts the door hinge to the door. The lifting assembly includes a latch cam, a lift track, and a latch idler. The latch cam is mounted to the door handle. The latch cam is rotatable with the door handle about the door handle rotational axis. The latch cam forms an eccentric roller path extending about the door handle rotational axis. The latch idler includes a first roller and a second roller. The first roller is disposed on a lift track of the support assembly and configured to roll along the lift track. The second roller is disposed within the eccentric roller path. The latch idler is mounted to the door. The latch idler is configured to lift the door as the door handle rotates from the latched position to the unlatched position.

    Abstract: Fenestration units that include slide mechanisms that operate the unit through linear motion. Slide mechanism designs include a handle, a slide member coupled to the handle, and a linear rail along which the slide member is slidably received such that the slide member is operable to slide in a linear motion. The slide member includes an attachment structure for operatively coupling with a drive belt to transfer linear motion through a transfer mechanism to a drive mechanism of the unit. The attachment structure is attached to the drive belt such that a position of the attachment mechanism along the length of the drive belt may be adjusted by a user.

    Abstract: An emergency mechanism for manually opening a powered door that includes a hold-close latch that holds the door in a closed position. During the manual operation, a manually operated handle for actuating only the hold-closed latch is manually moved from a non-actuating position to an actuating position, which actuates the hold-close latch to release the door from the closed position. The handle is held in the actuating position until it is moved back to the non-actuating position during a subsequent powered operation, thus allowing a user to move the door to an opened position using both hands.

    Abstract: A method for detecting a function actuation on a motor vehicle with a sensor device includes monitoring the signals of a proximity sensor as to a first signal reply S1. The signals of the proximity sensor are monitored for a time period Ts wherein the method is interrupted when the signal reply changes by more than a value St within the period of time Ts. The signal device is actuated after time Ts has expired in order to signal to the user that the actuation of time has expired. The signals of the proximity sensor are monitored for time Te wherein the method is continued when the signal of the proximity sensor changes by more than a predetermined value Se within the period of time Te. Otherwise, the method is interrupted. If the method is continued, the actuation of the function of the motor vehicle is detected and the function trigger is signaled to a control device in the motor vehicle.

    Abstract: A device for opening and closing a movable window of a motor vehicle, the movable window being movable relative to a fixed panel, from a closed position in which the movable window is positioned flush with the fixed panel, to an open position in which the movable window is moved parallel to the fixed panel. The device includes an assembly controlled from a handle mechanism supported by an edge of a frame secured to the movable window, such that starting from the closed position, actuating the handle a first time releases locking of the movable window then, secondly, brings the movable window out of its closed position, an edge of the window corresponding to the edge of the frame being moved relative to the fixed panel, to the position allowing sliding of the movable window.
