There is disclosed herein an automotive window regulator and drive mechanism which includes a rotatable flexible drive shaft to transmit rotational forces from the regulator arm to a worm gear supported on a lower edge of the window. The worm gear engages a rack secured to a portion of the vehicle so as to vary the position of the window. In one embodiment, both electric motor drive and manual crank drive means are provided either of which may be selectively engaged to drive the rotatable flexible shaft. The regulator end of the flexible drive shaft may be supported in meshing engagement with a portion of the regulator drive gear by means of a pinion pivot arm which arm includes indexing gears to enable the flexible cable to track the worm gear thereby reducing the flexing of the flexible drive shaft.

Um ein antreibbares Schiebefenster zu schaffen ist an dem feststehenden Bauteil ein antreibbares Ritzel (3) drehbar gelagert und ist an dem beweglichen Bauteil eine Zahnstange (2), in die das Ritzel (3) eingreift, vorgesehen.

The invention relates to a drive mechanism comprising a drive shaft (6) which can be connected to a motor and swivels a vehicle door or vehicle hood (2) that is connected in a torsion-proof manner to a hinge loop (3) about a hinge pin (4). In order to arrange the drive mechanism and the hinge loop (3) in a very compact manner, a planetary gear that is integrated into the hinge loop (3) is used as a drive mechanism (5). The drive shaft (6) of the drive mechanism (5) is formed by the support shaft of the sun wheel (7) while the internal gear (12) of the planetary gear (5) is formed by the end of the hinge loop (3), which is located on the side facing the hinge pin. The support shafts (18) of the planet wheels (10) are mounted inside at least one support element (14, 15) that is placed lateral to the hinge loop (3) and can be connected in a fixed manner to the vehicle body. Preferably, the at least one support element (14, 15) is embodied as a bearing block (13) upon which the hinge loop (3) is pivotally arranged.

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf einen von einem Antrieb 22 antreibbaren Spindelantrieb für ein bewegbares Bauteil, mit einer um eine Spindelachse 1 drehbaren Gewindespindel 2, auf der eine Spindelmutter 6 nicht selbsthemmend angeordnet ist, durch die ein mit dem Bauteil verbundenes Übertragungselement axial zur Spindelachse 1 bewegbar antreibbar ist. Dabei ist das Übertragungselement gegenüber einer Drehung um die Spindelachse 1 gesichert mit dem schwenkbaren Bauteil verbunden. Ein Zwischenelement ist sich axial zur Gewindespindel 2 erstreckend und relativ zur Gewindespindel 2 verdrehbar angeordnet, das gegenüber der Spindelmutter 6 gegen Verdrehung um die Spindelachse 1 gesichert ist, wobei das Zwischenelement vom Antrieb 22 drehbar antreibbar und die Gewindespindel 2 gegen Verdrehen um die Spindelachse 1 sicherbar ist.

Apparatus for referencing a rotary drive with limits of movement required for that drive to take account of a particular application, for example the movement limits of opening or closing a garage door, comprising referencing a cam actuable switch (27) to the disposition of a drive in a range, said apparatus having an eccentric member (16) dependent on the drive, a spur gear (17) carried by the eccentric member and free to rotate relative to the eccentric member, a ring gear (19) with its inwardly directed teeth in an epicyclic meshing relationship with the spur gear (17), and a cam (23) rotatable with the spur gear adapted to interact with a switch (27), wherein there is an adaption or a capability whereby the switch is in a substantially fixed relationship with said ring gear (19).
