    Abstract: An alpha-(p-ter-butyl phenyl)-4-(alpha-hydroxy-alpha-phenyl benzyl)- 1-piperidino butanol (I) having anti-histamine and antiallergy effect, is prepd. Thus 7g 4'-terbutyl-4-[4-(alphahydroxy-alpha- phenyl benzyl)piperidino -butyrophenon sodium salt in 150ml methanol is adjusted to weak alkaline by adding methanolic KOH and cooled. Then 0.8g hydrated sodium borate is added and stirred at 0-5≦̸C for 2 hr followed by condensing and recrystallizing to give 6.2g I (m.p. 145-146≦̸C) by the yield of 95%.

    Abstract translation: 制备具有抗组胺和抗过敏作用的α-（对叔丁基苯基）-4-（α-羟基-α-苯基苄基）-1-哌啶子基丁醇（I）。 因此，通过加入甲醇KOH将7g 4'-叔丁基-4- [4-（α-羟基-α-苯基苄基）哌啶子基 - 丁基酮钠盐在150ml甲醇中调节至弱碱性并冷却。 然后加入0.8g水合硼酸钠，并在0-5℃下搅拌2小时，然后冷凝并重结晶，得到6.2g I（m.p.145-146℃），产率为95％。
