PURPOSE: A piezoelectric actuator, an ink-jet head including the same, and a piezoelectric actuator manufacturing method are provided to enable the drive of a piezoelectric actuator at low voltage. CONSTITUTION: A piezoelectric actuator comprises upper and lower electrodes(230,210) and a piezoelectric member(220). The upper and lower electrodes provide driving voltage. The piezoelectric member is formed by solidifying viscous piezoelectric liquid between the upper and lower electrodes and provides a driving force to the ink in a pressure chamber of an ink-jet head(100).
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A device for cleaning an inkjet head is provided to prevent ink from polluting a nozzle's surface of an inkjet head after the ink is removed from the nozzel's surface in a spraying way. CONSTITUTION: A spraying unit(232) is arranged away from a nozzle unit(102) discharging ink and sprays air to the nozzle unit. A blocking surface(210) is formed to face the nozzle unit and blocks ink removed from the nozzle unit by air sprayed by the spraying unit. Spattering preventing unit is installed between the blocking unit and the nozzle unit and blocks some of the ink blocked by the blocking unit, which spatters farther than predetermined distance from the blocking surface. A storage unit(240) holds ink removed from the nozzle unit.

PURPOSE: A cleaning device for an inkjet print head is provided to reduce the blockage or contamination of a nozzle due to print scraps or particles produced by wiping. CONSTITUTION: A cleaning device for an inkjet print head comprises a cleaning plate(70) and a pneumatic device. The cleaning plate is arranged to correspond to an inkjet print head(20), with an ink flow space interposed. The pneumatic device is installed in the ink flow space and removes the ink remaining in the nozzle of the inkjet print head in a direction different from the ink discharge direction by changes of fluid pressure.

PURPOSE: An ink-jet head package which smoothly supplies ink into an ink chamber is provided to be formed as one package which includes a lead frame. CONSTITUTION: An ink-jet head package comprises an ink head(110), a center substrate part(120) and a lead frame(130). An actuator is installed to the top of the ink head. The ink head discharges ink to outside by the drive of actuator. The center substrate part is arranged between the ink storage and the ink head for supplying the ink to the ink head. The center substrate part comprises a socket. The lead frame is formed on the upper side of the ink head so that the center substrate part and actuator cam be electrically connected. The lead frame is connected to the side of the center substrate part.

PURPOSE: An ink-jet head manufacturing method is provided to prevent the inflow of foreign materials flowing in a head body in an etching process for patterning an upper electrode. CONSTITUTION: An ink-jet head manufacturing method comprises the following steps. A head body which is formed with a vibration plate on the top thereof is prepared. The upper side of the vibration plate is coated with a lower electrode(S110). Photoresist is patterned so that an open area is formed on the upper part of the vibration plate(S120). The open area is filled with the piezoelectric(S130). The upper side of the piezoelectric and the upper side of the photoresist are coated with a conductive layer(S140). The photoresist is etched, a part of a conductive layer coated on the photoresist is removed, and an upper electrode is patterned on the upper side of the piezoelectric(S150).

PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a piezoelectric actuator for an ink-jet head is provided to improve the piezoelectric property of a piezoelectric element by forming an electrode unit on one side of the piezoelectric element by sintering a high temperature sintering element at high temperature. CONSTITUTION: A piezoelectric actuator(100) is mounted on the upper side of a head body(50) of an ink-jet head. A piezoelectric element is lapped to reduce the thickness of the piezoelectric element. An electrode unit is formed on one side of the piezoelectric element by a high temperature sintering element. The piezoelectric element is attached to the head body to be electrically connected to the electrode unit. A ground is formed on the surface of the head body using Au. The piezoelectric element is attached to the head body with an epoxy adhesive.
