Abstract: Disclosed is a spindle motor. The spindle motor includes: a stator including a base member which has a rigidly installed stator core; and a rotor including a rotor hub where a driving magnet is installed to face the stator core. The driving magnet is installed on a magnet mounting unit included in the rotor hub to have the magnetic center in the axial direction to be arranged on a space above the magnetic center in the axial direction of the stator core to generate a downward force in the axial direction by interacting with the stator core. The stator core is made of a soft magnetic material and has a protrusion unit extending in the axial direction formed on an end unit facing the driving magnet.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A fault detecting device of an inkjet printer head and a fault detecting method are provided to amplify an output generated by a piezoelectric element with residual vibration after discharging ink, thereby simply determining whether the ink normally discharged or not. CONSTITUTION: A fault detecting device(100) of an inkjet printer head comprises an amplifying unit(130) and a detecting unit(150). The amplifying unit is connected to between a piezoelectric element and a contact point. The piezoelectric element presses an ink chamber. The amplifying unit amplifies voltage generated by the piezoelectric element. The detecting unit detects whether ink is normally discharged or not by using the amplified voltage. The detecting unit compares the voltage amplified by the amplifying unit and a preference voltage saved in advance in normally discharging the ink.
