Abstract: PURPOSE: A pedal effort adjusting device for a vehicle pedal is provided to easily adjust pedal effort as necessary by moving a motor load or a moving bolt without replacing a spring for adjusting the elasticity of the spring. CONSTITUTION: A pedal effort adjusting device for a vehicle pedal comprises a pedal mounting bracket(12), a step motor(13), and moving device(20), and a spring(15). The pedal mounting bracket is rotatably joined with a pedal(11) and is equipped with a guide hole at one side. The step motor is fixed to one side of the pedal mounting bracket and is equipped with a rotor(13a). The moving device is connected to the rotor and penetrates the guide hole to move along the guide hole when the rotor rotates. The spring is connected to the moving device and a pedal bracket(14) to vary in length along with the movement of the moving device.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A parking brake state alarming device and a controlling method thereof are provided to improve the recognition rate of a driver through the simple control logic without additional devices and designs for the parking brake. CONSTITUTION: A parking brake state alarming device comprises a parking brake(1), a cluster(10), an accelerating pedal(5), an ECU(40), and a controller(20). The parking brake forms a locked state in the stationary state of a vehicle. The cluster is equipped with a parking display(10a) which informs the operation state of the parking brake through a parking brake signal. The accelerating pedal implements the modes in which various vibrations occurs related to the driving state of the vehicle. The ECU processes various kinds of vehicle information which is provided from the information providing unit(30) and receives and processes a signal from a door lock device. The controller receives the information through the communications connected in the ECU. The controller controls the various modes of the accelerating pedal.
