    Abstract: Un proceso para deshidratar ácido cianhídrico por destilación, el cual comprende la destilación de ácido cianhídrico crudo que contiene del 50 al 99,9 % en peso de HCN, del 0,1 al 40 % en peso de agua, del 0 al 15 % en peso de óxidos de carbono y opcionalmente del 0,01 al 1 % en peso de un estabilizante no volátil, a una presión de 1 bar a 2,5 bar, una temperatura en la base de 100° C a 130° C y una temperatura en la parte superior de 25° C a 54° C, en ausencia de un estabilizante volátil, en una columna de destilación para obtener una corriente de arrastre superior que contiene ácido cianhídrico purificado y óxidos de carbono, y una corriente de arrastre inferior que comprende agua y, si corresponde, el estabilizante no volátil. Un proceso para hidrocianar olefinas o dienos por: a) en una primera etapa, deshidratación de ácido cianhídrico crudo por medio de un proceso de acuerdo con cualquiera de las reivindicaciones 1 a 8 y opcionalmente su conservación en ausencia de un estabilizante; b) reacción del ácido cianhídrico anhidro en ausencia de un estabilizante con la olefina o el dieno en presencia de un catalizador de hidrocianación.

    Abstract: A process is described for preparing 3-pentenenitrile, characterized by the following process steps: (a) reacting 1,3-butadiene with hydrogen cyanide over at least one catalyst to obtain a stream 1 which comprises 3-pentenenitrile, 2-methyl-3-butenenitrile, the at least one catalyst and 1,3-butadiene, (b) distilling stream 1 in a column to obtain a high-1,3-butadiene stream 2 as the top product and a low-1,3-butadiene stream 3 as the bottom product which comprises 3-pentenenitrile, the at least one catalyst and 2-methyl-3-butenenitrile, (c) distilling stream 3 in a column to obtain a stream 4 as the top product which comprises 1,3-butadiene, a stream 5 which comprises 3-pentenenitrile and 2-methyl-3-butenenitrile at a side draw of the column, and a stream 6 as the bottom product which comprises the at least one catalyst, (d) distilling stream 5 to obtain a stream 7 as the top product which comprises 2-methyl-3-butenenitrile, and a stream 8 as the bottom product which comprises 3-pentenenitrile.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a method for producing 3-pentenenitrile, characterised by the following steps: (a) isomerisation of an educt stream containing 2-methyl-3-butenenitrile on at least one dissolved or dispersed isomerisation catalyst to form a stream (1), which contains the isomerisatio n catalyst(s), 2-methyl-3-butenenitrile, 3-pentenenitrile and (Z)-2-methyl-2- butenenitrile; (b) distillation of the stream (1) to obtain a stream (2) as the overhead product, which contains 2-methyl-3-butenenitrile, 3- pentenenitrile and (Z)-2-methyl-2-butenenitrile and a stream (3) as the bott om product, which contains the isomerisation catalyst(s); (c) distillation of t he stream (2) to obtain a stream (4) as the overhead product, which is enriched with (Z)-2-methyl-2-butenenitrile in comparison to stream (2), (in relation to the sum of all pentenenitriles in stream (2)) and a stream (5) as the bottom product, which is enriched with 3-pentenenitrile and 2-methyl-3-butenenitril e in comparison to stream (2), (in relation to the sum of all pentenenitriles in stream (2); (d) distillation of stream (5) to obtain a stream (6) as the bottom product, which contains 3-pentenenitrile and a stream (7) as the head product, which contains 2-methyl-3-butenenitrile.
