The invention relates to a self-propelled and self-steering floor cleaning device which comprises at least one cleaning aggregate (33, 51) and a dirt collecting container (42) which has a container interior (44), a bottom (56), a dirt inlet opening (48), and a dirt outlet opening (58), wherein dirt particles can be transferred by means of the at least one clearing aggregate (33, 51) into the container interior (44) and the dirt outlet opening (58) is formed on the bottom (56). In order to provide a floor cleaning device of this type, which enables a simple removal of dirt particles from the dirt collecting container while achieving a simple construction, it is proposed according to the invention that the floor cleaning device (14) has a valve device (60) arranged on the dirt outlet opening (58) comprising at least one valve body (62, 64) which, in a closed position, forms the bottom (56) at least in sections and closes the dirt outlet opening (58), and which can transfer into an open position, in which the dirt outlet opening (58) is at least partially released, and that the valve device (60) can be activated by air pressure for transferring the at least one valve body (62, 64) from the closed position into the open position. The invention further relates to a cleaning system.

Die Erfindung betrifft zunächst eine Basisstation (1) zum Reinigen und/oder Entleeren eines Saugerstaubraumes eines ersten Staubsaugers (3), welche Basisstation (1) eine Basisstaubkammer, einen mit der Basisstaubkammer in Strömungsverbindung stehenden ersten Lufteintritt (7) und einen mit der Basisstaubkammer in Strömungsverbindung stehenden ersten Luftaustritt (8) aufweist, wobei der Lufteintritt (7) und der Luftaustritt (8) mit einem Luftkanal des ersten Staubsaugers (3) verbindbar sind, so dass in dem Saugerstaubraum des ersten Staubsaugers (3) enthaltenes Sauggut mittels eines Gebläses, insbesondere eines Gebläses des ersten Staubsaugers (3), in die Basisstaubkammer förderbar ist. Um eine Basisstation (1) zu schaffen, an welche mehrere Staubsauger (3, 4) gleichzeitig bzw. unterschiedliche Arten von Staubsaugern (3, 4) angeschlossen werden können, wird vorgeschlagen, dass die Basisstation (1) mindestens eine Schnittstelle (13) zur lösbaren Verbindung mit einem Adaptermodul (16) aufweist, welche Schnittstelle (13) einen absperrbaren, mit der Basisstaubkammer in Strömungsverbindung stehenden zweiten Lufteintritt aufweist, über welchen bei Verbindung des Adaptermoduls (16) mit einem zweiten Staubsauger (4) in einem Saugerstaubraum des zweiten Staubsaugers (4) enthaltenes Sauggut in die Basisstaubkammer förderbar ist. Die Erfindung betrifft weiter ein Adaptermodul (16) zur lösbaren Verbindung mit einem Staubsauger (3, 4) und einer Basisstation (1), sowie ein Verfahren zum Reinigen und/oder Entleeren eines Saugerstaubraumes.

A robot cleaner (1) provided with a shutter (11,12) to open or close an inlet of a dust box (5) when the dust box (5) is separated from a body (4) of the robot cleaner (1) . Another robot cleaner, which docks with an automatic exhaust station (2), is also disclosed, together with the automatic exhaust station (2). The latter robot cleaner includes a shutter (111) to be automatically opened by air discharged from the automatic exhaust station (2) in a docked state of the robot cleaner to exhaust dust from the dust box (115), in order to allow even heavy dust to be easily exhausted.

A robot cleaning system is capable of performing automatic cleaning and manual cleaning with a minimal number of devices. The robot cleaning system includes a first cleaning unit (100) to perform automatic cleaning while moving by itself in an area to be cleaned, and a second cleaning unit (200) to perform manual cleaning while being coupled to the first cleaning unit (100) as it is moved by a user in an area to be cleaned. Each of the first and second cleaning units contains a blower (120,220) and dust collector (130,230) to vacuum.
