A system for dynamic braking a vehicle closure including a drive mechanism mounted to the vehicle, the drive mechanism having contacts to receive a drive signal to cause the drive mechanism to move the vehicle closure between an open and a close position in response to the drive signal, the drive mechanism capable of generating a generated drive signal during at least a portion of the vehicle closure from the open to the close position; and a controller having electrical outputs electrically coupled to the electrical contacts of the drive mechanism and electrical inputs to provide the drive signals to the drive mechanism and to receive generated drive signals from the drive mechanism, the controller configured to provide the generated drive signals back to the drive mechanism during operation of the vehicle closure to provide dynamic braking of the vehicle closure from the open to the close position.

An automatic closing device for returning a sliding section of a sliding door assembly to a closed position without application of an external force. The automatic closing device has a controlled return mechanism that has an adjustable mass assembly and a spring. The controlled return mechanism generates a force that returns the sliding section to its closed position after the sliding section is opened. The controlled return mechanism has a connector having a first end and a second end. The first end of the connector is attached to a fixed position on the sliding door assembly and the second end of the connector is attached to a top end of the controlled return mechanism. The controlled return mechanism has a pulley assembly having a plurality of pulleys that guides the connector from the top end of the controlled return mechanism to the fixed position on the sliding door assembly.

Zur Reduzierung der beim Schließen eines von Hand schließbaren Karosseriebauteils, beispielsweise einer Tür, auftretenden Belastungen wird ein Verfahren zum Steuern der Schließbewegung vorgeschlagen, bei dem das Karosseriebauteil bei der Schließbewegung ausgehend von einer geöffneten Stellung einen ersten Verstellbereich durchläuft, in welchem das Karosseriebauteil ohne Eingriff eines Steuerorgans zur geschlossenen Stellung hin bewegt wird, und das Karosseriebauteil an den ersten Verstellbereich anschließend einen zweiten Verstellbereich durchläuft, in welchem die Schließbewegung des Karosseriebauteils durch Eingriff des Steuerorgans so verändert wird, dass die kinetische Restenergie des Karosseriebauteils nach Durchlaufen des zweiten Verstellbereichs unabhängig von der Anfangsgeschwindigkeit einen vorbestimmten Grenzwert nicht überschreitet. Die kinetische Restenergie ist für ein selbsttätiges Schließen des Karosseriebauteils nicht ausreichend. Deshalb wird in einem an den zweiten Verstellbereich anschließenden dritten Verstellbereich das Karosseriebauteil automatisch zugezogen, bis eine Vor- oder Hauptraste eines Schlosses erreicht ist. Die Erfindung betrifft ferner eine entsprechende Steuervorrichtung.

Invention relates to an automatic fire door, namely an automatically operating fire door in the normal regime of operation, which is however in emergencies automatically and unconditionally adaptable to the critical regime of operation. Mounting of such door requires as little room as possible, and moreover, such door allows a reliable and safe use in complying with all standards in the field of fire protection. The door includes an assembly (5) for forced closing, an electromagnetic latch (4) envisaged for blocking the frame (8) in a predetermined position, an electromagnetic snap latch (13) and an electromagnetic snap latch (6).
