Abstract:
PURPOSE: An AVN(Audio Video Navigation) system with a seamless broadcasting service function and a method thereof are provided to receive a DMB(Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) signal through a telematics service server when a normal DMB signal is not received due to a shadow region. CONSTITUTION: A vehicle speed collecting unit(20) collects speed of a vehicle. A storage unit(40) stores a DMB signal received from a broadcasting receiving unit. A control unit(50) reproduces the DMB signal if speed collected by the vehicle speed collecting unit is not faster than a threshold value. If the speed is faster than the threshold value, the control unit stores the DMB signal in the storage unit. If a user requests seamless watching, the control unit reproduces the DMB signal stored in the storage unit.

PURPOSE: A DMB broadcasting system, a terminal device, and a broadcasting receiving method of the terminal device are provided to descramble and decompress for DMB(digital multimedia broadcasting) signal in a base band chip module of DMB signal receive chip in order for a main processor of the terminal device to process DMB related function only. CONSTITUTION: A broadcasting receiving method of a terminal device comprises the following steps: a DMB broadcasting device(110) processes scrambling and compression of DMS signal; a terminal device(120) receives the DMB signal through a DMB signal receiving chip; the terminal device processes descrambling and decompression for the received DMB signal; and the terminal device processes DMB play function based on the DMB signal which is descrambled and compression-released by using the main processor.

PURPOSE: A bidirectional server system for transmitting multiple video and audio signals is provided to process data at high capacity in a sate that modulated data is stored in database. CONSTITUTION: A database 1(110) stores a plurality of modulation signal source data. A high-speed/high-capacity signal processing unit(120) processes selected modulation signal source data at high-speed. An IF(Intermediate Frequency) signal processing unit(130) modulates the signal which is processed from the high-speed/high-capacity signal processing unit into an RF signal. A signal transceiving unit(140) transmits the RF signal which is modulated from the IF signal processing unit.

PURPOSE: A broadcasting channel list output method and a portable terminal supporting the same are provided to enable a portable terminal to easily support a screen interface and to easily support a desired broadcasting channel search. CONSTITUTION: A portable terminal receives broadcasting information of a broadcasting station(809). The portable terminal confirms a data transfer rate of a specific broadcasting channel(811). The portable terminal divides the kind of the broadcasting channel according to the data transfer rate(813,815). The portable terminal generates and outputs a channel list(817).

PURPOSE: An image transmitting system and a method thereof are provided to offer broadcast receiving service related with various channel. CONSTITUTION: By the broadcast receiving request of a mobile terminal, a transmission control unit transmits information about predetermined broadcasting channel to the mobile terminal(S110,S120). The transmission control unit receives broadcasts related with the selected channel through a broadcasting receiving unit(S140). A data processing unit outputs the encoded data signal to the transmission control unit(S150). The transmission control unit transmits the outputted image signal, a voice signal, and a data signal to the mobile terminal(S160).

PURPOSE: A digital multimedia broadcasting retransmission system using a beacon and a retransmitting method thereof are provided to enable a user to watch a DMB without disconnection. CONSTITUTION: A DMB center(100) transmits broadcasting data for a DMB service. A first mobile terminal(200-1 to 200-3) receives broadcasting data. A beacon(300) receives broadcasting data in the DMB center if the broadcasting data transmission is requested through local communication. The beacon transmits the received broadcasting data. If the first mobile terminal enters a fringe area, the first mobile terminal requests the transmission of the broadcasting data through beacon connection.

본 발명은 TPEG(Transport Protocol Expert Group)을 이용한 재난 정보 제공 장치로서, 재난 경보 서비스(Automatic Emergency Alert Service) 메시지를 수신하는 재난 경보 서비스 메시지 수신부와, 상기 재난 경보 서비스 메시지로부터 링크 정보를 추출하는 링크 정보 추출부와, 추출된 상기 링크 정보에 대응하는 TPEG 데이터를 수신하여 제공하는 TPEG 재난 정보 제공부를 포함하는 TPEG을 이용한 재난 정보 제공 장치에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따르면, 재난 경보 서비스 메시지 내의 링크 정보를 사용하여 TPEG 메시지를 참조하는 것에 의해서 멀티미디어 형식의 재난 정보를 제공할 수 있다. 또한 재난 정보의 제공 지역의 범위와 TPEG 서비스를 제공하는 전송자의 수에 따라서 동적으로 생성되는 링크 정보를 사용할 수 있어서 효율적인 재난 정보를 제공할 수 있다.

PURPOSE: A system and method thereof paying the using fee of a DMB pay channel with a smart card of an ETCS terminal are provided to automatically or conveniently pay the fee. CONSTITUTION: A DMB terminal(110) receives a DMB(Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) including the pay-TV channel. A ETCS(Electrical Toll Collecting System) terminal(120) has a smart card and is connected to the DMB terminal. A control unti(130) is connected to the DMB terminal and the ETCS terminal. The control unit requests usage payment about the pay-TV channel.

PURPOSE: A digital terminal apparatus equipped with a stereoscopic 3D contents projector using a 3D video processor and a control method thereof are provided to direct project 3D data through the 3D projector of a terminal. CONSTITUTION: A DMB(Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) data is transmitted through a DMB network. The DMB data can include satellite DMB data and terrestrial DMB data. A DMB processor(110) receives the DMB data. A 3D video processor(120) changes the DMB data into the video data of a 3D format. A projection processor(130) projects the video data of the 3D format to the outside.

PURPOSE: A broadcast data receiving speed improving apparatus and method are provided to minimize the receive completion time of broadcasting data. CONSTITUTION: A data analysis unit(303) analyzes broadcasting data. The data analysis unit outputs main service channel data. A data management unit(305) stores a main service channel data group except for the main service channel data group in which a loss generates in a storage unit(307). According to the control of the data management unit, a decoding unit(309) decodes the main service channel data group stored in the storage unit.
