Abstract: The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for performing emergency driving of a high-voltage part in a hybrid vehicle, which are made to enable driving of a high-voltage part even in the event of a failure of a high-voltage main relay in order to solve the problem that the vehicle cannot be driven due to no operation of a high-voltage part such as an electric oil pump when the high-voltage main relay fails. To this end, the present invention provides a method for performing emergency driving of a high-voltage part in a hybrid vehicle. The method comprises the steps of: determining whether a high-voltage main relay is turned off, and charging the voltage of a DC link end through counter electromotive force generated from motor generators which are connected to an engine to be linked with the rotation thereof when the high-voltage main relay is turned off; and controlling the voltage to constantly maintain the voltage of the DC link end using inverters for the motor generators.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for detecting the disconnection of a power cable of a motor is provided to prevent lethal damage by accurately detecting the disconnection of the power cable in the initial stages. CONSTITUTION: A controller detects current supplied to each phase of a motor according to the switching of an inverter. The controller detects the drive speed of a motor(S102), whether the drive speed exceeds the fixed reference speed or not is determined(S103). If the drive speed of the motor exceeds the fixed reference speed, whether the control current for motor drive exceeds the reference value of the maximum current or not is determined(S104). If the control current for the motor drive exceeds the reference value of the maximum current, the disconnection of the power cable connecting an inverter and a motor is activated(S105). Whether the phase current supplied to a motor is lower than the second reference value of the current reference or not is determined(S106). If the phase current exceeds the second reference value, the power cable is determined as the normal state.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A method of a DC-DC converter is provided to determine an ultra low load state of a DC-DC converter, thereby effectively preventing over-heating and damage of a switching device in a converter. CONSTITUTION: A DC-DC converter operates(S11). A converter controller receives a converter output terminal voltage and an output current which are detected by a voltage sensor and a current sensor.
