Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for processing an initial ranging signal in a wireless telecommunication system and a method thereof are provided to both an initial ranging channel signal and a data channel signal by using equal sized FFT engines. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for processing an initial ranging signal includes a ranging signal transmission processing unit(10) and a ranging signal reception processing unit(20). The ranging signal transmission processing unit comprises a ranging signal generating unit(11) generating a ranging signal, a FFT(Fast Fourier Transform) unit(12), and a signal interpolation unit(13). The signal generating unit generates an initial ranging code. The IFFT unit performs the IFFT(Inverse Fast Fourier Transform) calculation of the initial ranging code. The signal interpolation unit performs the signal interpolation of a signal outputted from the IFFT unit. The ranging signal reception processing unit comprises a demultiplexing unit(21), K sized FFTs(22,23), correlators(24,25), initial ranging code generating unit(26), K sized FFTs(27,28), and a peak detector(29).

Abstract: 무선 통신 시스템에서 송신 노드는 통신 프레임을 수신 노드와 공유한다. 송신 노드는 수신 노드로 전송할 데이터가 발생한 경우에 통신 프레임의 수신 확인 슬롯을 확인하여 수신 가능한 수신 확인 슬롯의 정보를 현재의 통신 프레임 내 예약 요청 슬롯을 통하여 수신 노드로 전송하고, 수신 노드는 수신 가능한 수신 확인 슬롯에 대응하는 적어도 하나의 데이터 슬롯 중 수신 가능한 예약 데이터 슬롯의 정보를 현재의 통신 프레임 내 예약 요청 슬롯에 대응하는 예약 응답 슬롯을 통하여 송신 노드로 전송한다. 이후, 송신 노드는 후속하는 프레임의 예약 데이터 슬롯을 통하여 데이터를 수신 노드로 전송하며, 수신 노드로부터 통신 프레임 내 예약 데이터 슬롯에 대응하는 수신 확인 슬롯을 성공적으로 수신한 경우에 연속하는 통신 프레임의 예약 데이터 슬롯을 통하여 추가적인 데이터를 전송할 수 있다.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A method and apparatus for updating multicast and broadcast service are provided to receive MBS(Multicast and Broadcast Service) regardless of a terminal state. CONSTITUTION: If an MBS information is updated, a base station transmits a first message. The first message comprises a service flow update identifier that identifies a method for expressing the current MBS identifier and flow identifier to be updated, information on the current MBS identifier and flow identifier expressed according to the method identified by the service flow update identifier, and new MBS information. A terminal transmits a second message to the base station in response to the first message.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A data transmission method of a multicast broadcast service in a mobile wireless connection system is provided to supply a MBS service through information related to MBS irrelevant to a connection state, an idle state of a terminal. CONSTITUTION: A terminal receives MBS(Multicast Broadcast Service) data in a mobile wireless connection system. A MBS related information of one neighboring base station is received from a serving base station(S210).
