    Abstract: PURPOSE: To obtain a conjugate fiber material suitable for various kinds of filters, etc., because of excellent dust removability, and especially useful for bag filter for difficult dust-collection. CONSTITUTION: A nonwoven fabric consisting of an ethylene- chlorotrifluoroethylene copolymer is prepared by mutually binding fibers 1 having an average fiber diameter of >=1μm and =10g/m and . The objective conjugate fiber material is obtained by laminating the nonwoven fabric on a fiber material 4 other than the nonwoven fabric. The lamination surfaces are bound to each other by intermittent binding spots 2.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a process for producing a melt-blown nonwoven fabric in improved productivity without deteriorating the quality of the nonwoven fabric. CONSTITUTION:A molten thermoplastic polymer is extruded through plural orifices 9 arranged in a row. Hot gas stream is slantly ejected against the extruded molten polymer through slits 10 opened at both sides of the orifice row. The ultrafine fibers fibrillated by this process are collected on a moving collection face under the orifices in the form of a sheet of the objective melt- blown nonwoven fabric. The distance between orifices 9 of the orifice row is 0.1-0.7mm, the extrusion rate of the molten polymer for each orifice is 0.1-3g/ min/orifice, the flow rate of the hot gas for 1cm of the orifice row is 0.08-0.3 Nm /min and the temperature of the molten polymer extruded from the orifice 9 and the temperature of the hot gas blown through the slit 10 are set to be Tm+100 deg.C or below, where Tm is the melting point of the thermoplastic polymer.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a new laminated nonwoven fabric having a multilayered structure by forming according to a melt-blowing method and a method for producing the nonwoven fabric. CONSTITUTION:The objective laminated nonwoven fabric comprises a front melt-blown nonwoven fabric layer and a back melt-blown nonwoven fabric layer having at least one mutually different average diameter, constituent fiber material and density of the constituent fiber in the front and the back of an interlayer containing the constituent fibers of the adjacent front and the back layers mixed therein. Both the nonwoven fabric layers are laminated through the interlayer. The melt-blown fiber is laminated on a moving collection surface while jetting at least two rows of melt blowing jet streams and rocking the jetting streams in the direction at substantially right angles from the jetting direction so as to overlap the two rows of melt-blown jetting streams.
