Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a coating composition for a wiper blade comprising graphene and a wiper blade coated using the same. More particularly, the present disclosure relates to a coating composition for a wiper blade comprising graphene that may improve durability, an abrasion resistance, and a slip property of a wiper blade, a wiper blade coated using the coating composition, and a method for manufacturing the wiper blade.
Abstract:
A polymeric material mixture comprising a fluorine-containing polymer, a siloxane polymer, and at least two polymer processing additives (PPA), wherein the at least two polymer processing additives have different chemistries. For example, there can be a flexible coextruded pipe for providing a protective housing for cables, fluids, sludge or solids, the pipe comprising a pair of telescopically related inner and outer layers, where said inner layer is lubricated with the polymeric material mixture.
Abstract:
A system and method for forming at least one of graphene and graphene oxide on a substrate and an opposed wear member. The system includes graphene and graphene oxide formed by an exfoliation process or solution processing method to dispose graphene and/or graphene oxide onto a substrate. The system further includes an opposing wear member disposed on another substrate and a gas atmosphere of an inert gas like N2, ambient, a humid atmosphere and a water solution.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a low-friction member imitating shark skin and a manufacturing method therefor, the low-friction member implementing a structure similar to shark skin and having riblets by stacking, in layers, composite particles formed by attaching spherical particles on the surfaces of plate-shaped particles, and thus the low-friction member has excellent low-friction characteristics. The present invention comprises: a base plate; plate-shaped particles stacked in layers on the surface of the base plate in the form of scales; and a plurality of spherical metal lubricating particles having a size smaller than that of the plate-shaped particles, and coated on the surfaces of the plate-shaped particles, wherein the metal lubricating particles are arranged in the form of a bridge connecting the base plate and the plate-shaped particles, and the plate-shaped particles to each other.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for preparing a two-dimensional hybrid composite that is capable of solving the problems with the two-dimensional plate type materials, that is, step difference, defects, stretching, etc., that occur as the second-dimensional plate type materials overlap with one another. The present invention provides a method for preparing a two-dimensional hybrid composite that includes: (a) preparing a first plate type material in the solid or liquid state; (b) mixing a second plate type material with the first plate type material, the second plate type material being thinner and more flexible than the first plate type material; (c) mixing a solid or liquid binder with the first and second plate type materials to make the first and second plate type materials partly contact with or apart from each other; and (d) solidifying a composite formed by the steps (a), (b) and (c).
Abstract:
There is provided a sliding film formed on a surface of a member which slides relative to another member. The sliding film includes, a metal-doped tetrahedral amorphous carbon layer; and a surface layer that is formed on top of the metal-doped tetrahedral amorphous carbon layer and has a higher coefficient of kinetic friction than the metal-doped tetrahedral amorphous carbon layer.
Abstract:
A scroll compressor which can be mounted in an automobile has a slide bearing resulting from baking onto a back metal a sliding layer of 5-60 wt % graphite having an average diameter of 5-50 μm and a graphitization degree of at least 0.6, the remainder containing a polyimide resin and/or a polyamide-imide resin. The form of the graphite has: (a) an average shape factor (YAVE) as defined of 1-4 for the particles excluding the minute particles that are no greater than 0.5 times the average diameter, and there being at least 70% by number of particles having a shape factor (Y) in the range of 1-1.5; or (b) graphite particles having a particle ratio of at least 0.5 being at least 50% of the total by number.
