Abstract: In the rear door locking device for automobiles, a bracket (11) forming a slide hole (10) is fixed on a fixing plate (5) formed integral with another fixing plate (3). A side of a slider (12) inserted into the slide hole is positioned so as to be inserted into a guide hole (1) of an elevation lever (2) attaching an elevation plate (8) to be engaged with a handle hinged on the fixing plate (3). The other side of the slider is connected by a pin (13) to a cam (17) rotatably hinged on the fixing plate (5) and connected to a locking lever (15) controllable by a operation switch.
