Abstract:
A powdery mold-releasing lubricant according to the present invention uses a powdery mixture of a powdery organic material, which is evaporated or decomposed by heating to generate a gas, and a powdery inorganic material. A gas-solid mixed layer formed with the gas generated from the powdery mixture and the powdery inorganic material is used as a heat-insulating boundary layer. The powdery mold-releasing lubricant is inexpensive and has a superior mold lubricity.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a casting method where the amount of the gas to be generated from a releasing agent can be reduced, the entanglement of the gas to a casting is reduced, so as to improve the quality of the casting, and further, the releasing properties of the casting from the mold face of a molding cavity in a mold can be improved; and to provide a releasing agent for a casting mold. SOLUTION: A stage where the mold face of a molding cavity in a heated mold is coated with a liquid releasing agent; and a casting stage where an aluminum based or magnesium based molten metal is poured into the molding cavity in the mold coated with the releasing agent, and is solidified, so as to form a casting are practiced. The releasing agent comprises an emulsion, as a main component, including a silicone resin with a siloxane bond as a skeleton, where oxigen is bonded with silicon having an organic group. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal forming apparatus with which a metal formed product excellent in strength can be produced at a low cost. SOLUTION: An upper die 1 and a lower die 2 constituting a die space, a pressurizing mechanism for pressing molten metal 8 after solidifying so as to compress from the lateral direction through the lower die 2, are provided and further, an exciting mechanism for applying vibration to the molten metal 8 is provided through the lower die 2. SOLUTION: In a fixed die 1 constituted by assembling a core pin 11 and a main body 12, this fin preventive structure 5A which is arranged in between the core pin 11 and the main body 12, is constituted with a gap 51 which exists in the interval between the matching surface 111 of the core pin 11 and the matching surface 121 of the main body 12 and opens in the inner surface 101 of the die and is positioned near the inner surface 101 of the die and into which the molten steel can flow, and a space 52 for reserving the molten steel, which communicates with the gap 51 and is formed in the matching surface 121 of the main body 12.
