The present invention relates to a polynucleotide for identifying the origin of the blackmouth angler and a method for identifying an origin of blackmouth angler using the same, and especially to a single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) marker which can be useful for identifying the origin of blackmouth angler, the method for identifying the origin of blackmouth angler using the same, and a kit used in the method. The origin of the blackmouth angler can be tracked by using the SNP marker caused by a mutation of a single nucleotide provided in the present invention.
