    Abstract: An improved base shoe for use with panel installation and removal systems. The improved base shoe includes dovetail grooves for use with a safety-seal and a weather seal, wherein the safety-seal and weather seal must be installed prior to installing a glass panel. The improved base shoe features a recess for use with taper plates having a continuous projection along an upper surface. The base shoe and taper plates are configured so as to provide a prying surface between the projection on the taper plates and a wall of the base shoe.

    Abstract: A push pad exit device comprising a horizontal push bar actuator mechanically linked to a vertical door handle assembly, for use on the interior side of entrance doors where a means of emergency egress is desired is presented. The operating mechanisms of the push bar actuator and vertical door handle assembly are concealed presenting a smooth uncluttered appearance. In one mode of operation, the push pad actuator may be moved inwards towards the door face causing the door to unlatch. The push pad exit device may also be equipped with a “dogging feature” which locks the push bar actuator in the unlatched position. In this mode of operation the door is unlatched and the push pad actuator may be used as a fixed door handle. The push pad exit device may also be equipped with a keyed lock on an external face of the door.

    Abstract: A shower door and hinge assembly comprising a glass shower door, a sloping sill, a sill angle adapter, upper and lower horizontal door frame rails, and upper and lower shower door hinges where the lower hinge is a gravity style hinge featuring a self-closing action, is presented. The hinges of the present invention shower door and hinge assembly attach only to horizontal edge surfaces of the glass door. The hinges do not attach to any vertical surface of the door.

    Abstract: An improved base shoe for use with the panel installation and removal system described in U.S. Pat. Nos. 8,122,654 and 8,201,366 is presented. The improved base shoe featuring dovetail grooves for use with a safety-seal weather seal, wherein the safety-seal weather seal must be installed prior to installing a glass panel. The safety-seal weather seal eliminates a safety risk incurred by installers who attempt to install a press in seal at an outboard base shoe to glass panel interface of an installed panel and base shoe. In an alternative embodiment, the improved base shoe features a recess for use with taper plates having a continuous projection along an upper surface. The base shoe and taper plates are configured so as to provide a prying surface between the projection on the taper plates and a wall of the base shoe.

    Abstract: A fully frameless sliding shower door assembly includes a sliding panel of sufficient strength to be fully self-supporting and includes a stationary panel. The need for an upper horizontal header member is eliminated by using an upper guide assembly having a guide which is fixed to the sliding panel and configured to slide about a top edge of the stationary panel. A self-centering roller assembly is attachable to the sliding panel without the need for a rail member. The roller assembly and a track therefore feature matching inverted and non-inverted generally U-shaped profiles. The shower door assembly further features inboard and outboard roller finger guards, as well as a track leveling feature which improves ease of installation.
