PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithographic printing plate original which can be directly processed into a printing plate by the irradiation with infrared laser light based on a digital signal, the obtained printing plate being able to be attached for immediate printing use as such to a printing machine without development procedure after exposure, and shows successful ablation efficiency (sensitivity) and consequent superb resistance to plate wear of the plate original. SOLUTION: This lithographic printing plate original has a support 11 and a lipophilic layer 12 formed on the support 11. The lipophilic layer 12 contains a crosslinked product obtained by crosslinking a polymer having a heat decomposable group in a main chain with a crosslinking agent. The platemaking method is to remove the lipophilic layer 12 of the exposed part of the original by exposing it to the infrared laser light. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interleaving paper, for a photosensitive lithographic printing plate for laser exposure, which can be easily released by an automatic interleaving paper release device, even when the paper is directly arranged on a photosensitive layer. SOLUTION: The interleaving paper with 100 g or more rigidity and 2.0 g/μm or more rigidity per unit thickness is used. In addition, the interleaving paper can be released easily by the automatic interleaving paper release device by setting the smoothness of a contact area coming into contact with the photosensitive layer of the photosensitive lithographic printing plate for laser exposure at 30" or less. Further, the release properties of the paper from a support constituting the printing plate are upgraded even when a plurality of the lithographic printing plates for laser exposure are superposed, by setting the smoothness of also a non-contact area with the photosensitive layer at 30" or less.
