Abstract:
A porous resin particle comprises a polymer of a monomer mixture containing: a mono(meth)acrylic acid ester monomer having an ethylenic unsaturated group only in a (meth)acrylic acid residue and containing an ether group and/or an ester group and a hydroxyl group in an alcohol residue; and a polyfunctional vinyl monomer having two or more ethylenic unsaturated groups. The amount of water absorption is from in excess of 400 mL/100 g to 700 mL/100 g and the amount of oil absorption is from in excess of 400 mL/100 g to 700 mL/100 g.
Abstract:
Provided are a colored resin particle having excellent adhesiveness, a method for producing the same, and use thereof. The colored resin particle, which is surface-coated with a polymer derived from a nitrogen-containing aromatic compound, has such an irregular shape that, when observed from a direction along which the projected area thereof is maximized, the irregular-shaped resin particle has a circular appearance whereas, when observed from a direction along which the projected area thereof is minimized, the irregular-shaped resin particle has a non-circular appearance.
Abstract:
Expandable polystyrenic resin particles having superior resistance to cracking of a molded foam product, having superior retention of blowing agent and maintaining expandability over a long period of time, a production process thereof, and a molded foam product are provided. These expandable polystyrenic resin particles contain a volatile blowing agent in polystyrenic resin particles obtained by impregnating and polymerizing a styrenic monomer in polyolef in resin particles to form a polystyrenic resin, wherein together with the styrenic monomer being used at 140 to 600 parts by weight to 100 parts by weight of the polyolefin resin particles, the average thickness of the surface layer observed in scanning electron micrographs obtained by immersing sections cut into halves through the center from the surface of the resin particles in tetrahydrofuran followed by extracting the polystyrenic resin component and capturing cross-sections of said sections is 15 to 150 μm, and the volatile blowing agent is contained at 5.5 to 13.0% by weight.
Abstract:
A styrene resin foaming material has a density rho of 0.02-0.008 g/cm , a melt tension of the styrene resin of 5-40 gf. The relation between an average cell diameter d ( mu m) and the density rho is given by (1). The relation between a thermal conductivity lambda (kcal/m.h. DEG C) and the density rho is given by (2): lambda

PROCEDE DE PREPARATION DE PARTICULES DE POLYOLEFINE GONFLABLES A PARTIR DE PARTICULES CONSTITUEES D'UNE RESINE DE POLYOLEFINE ET D'UNE RESINE VINYLAROMATIQUE COMBINEE CHIMIQUEMENT. AUX PARTICULES DE RESINE DE POLYOLEFINE MAINTENUES A L'ETAT FLUIDISE, ON AJOUTE UN MELANGE DE 3 A 15 PARTIES EN POIDS D'UN AGENT GONFLANT ET 0,5 A 5PARTIES EN POIDS D'UN PRODUIT AUXILIAIRE DE GONFLEMENT EN MILIEU PRATIQUEMENT ANHYDRE ET DANS DES CONDITIONS TELLES QUE L'AGENT GONFLANT EST PRESENT DANS LES PARTICULES EN PHASE GAZEUSE ET NON EN PHASE LIQUIDE.
