Abstract:
There is provided a human-body aimed spacer for restricting rugged feeling, which is flexible and light-weighted and requires only a smaller storage space. The spacer comprises a number of convex parts 20, and flexible connecting portions 26. The convex parts 20 each comprises: a frame-like portion 21 formed at a side contacting with a human body; four column portions 22, each having one end continuing to the frame-like portion, and each being formed to rise from the frame-like portion; and a rising-portion integrator 23 for interconnecting the other ends of the column portions 22 with one another. The flexible connecting portions 26 each interconnect adjacent ones of the frame-like portions 21 with each other. The spacer is configured to contact with a human body at the side where the frame-like portions 21 are formed, and to abut on a cushion or the like at the side where the rising-portion integrators are formed.
Abstract:
The present invention aims at providing a cooling suit having a simple structure and capable of assuredly vaporizing a large amount of perspiration. To this end, there is provided a cooling suit to be worn on a wearer, comprising: an air inlet 2a configured to introduce outside air; parallel airstream generation means 3 for introducing the outside air through the air inlet to generate parallel airstreams which are substantially parallel to the wearer's body; a guide sheet simultaneously serving as a garment 2 and for guiding the parallel airstreams generated by the parallel airstream generation means, parallelly to the wearer's body; an air exit portion configured to discharge the parallel airstreams to the exterior; and electric-power source means for supplying electric power to the parallel airstream generation means; wherein the parallel airstream generation means cooperatively blows air of a total amount of about 5m 3 /H to 500m 3 /H into between the guide sheet and an undergarment or wearer's body to cause positive pressures between the guide sheet and the undergarment or wearer's body to thereby produce an air flow space therebetween, and the parallel airstream generation means causes the blown air to flow through the air flow space to thereby discharge moisture due to perspiration to the exterior and to thereby constantly feed fresh outside air into the air flow space, thereby largely intensifying conditions where perspiration can be evaporated.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a cooling suit for allowing comfortable feeling even with a lesser power consumption and a simple structure. The cooling suit includes a cloth part 10a having an upper portion made of a highly air-permeable material, and having those portions other than the upper portion which are made of a substantially air-impermeable material. Formed at a reverse surface of the cloth part 10a are airflow passages between the cloth part 10a and an undergarment. Provided at a lower portion of the cloth part 10a are air outlets 50a for extracting air-streams within the airflow passages to the exterior; and provided at those positions of the reverse side of the cloth part 10a which correspond to the air outlets 50a, are fans for forcibly causing the air-streams within the airflow passages. Outside air is introduced into the airflow passages through the upper portion of the cloth part 10a by the fans, and the air-streams are flowed within the airflow passages in a manner substantially parallel to the wearer's body surface, so that the wearer's body is cooled.
Abstract:
The invention provides a dehumidifier air passage being capable of providing a sufficient effect of dehumidification and being excellent in mass productivity. A dehumidifier air passage 10 is used in a dehumidifier for removing moisture by making the outside air flow in the vicinity of the surface of a human body and the like, and comprises a nearly flat spacer 11 and a moisture transmittable sheet 21. The spacer 11 is used for supporting the moisture transmittable sheet 21 and securing a space through which air flows, and has a nearly flat base 15 and a plurality of long and narrow projections 16. Each of the projections 16 is formed so that the face of it facing the moisture transmittable sheet 21 is at most 50 % in area of the face being in contact with the base 15. A foamed plastic material is used as a material for the spacer 11. The spacer 11 is manufactured by cutting a foamed plastic material or by molding a foamed plastic material.
Abstract:
It is an object of the present invention to provide an air-conditioning garment capable of expanding a range in which a physiological cooler function originally included in a human body is effectively exercised, with a small power consumption in accordance with an individual difference or an intended use of a wearer. This air-conditioning garment is provided with a clothing material portion 20 which guides air along a surface of a body in a space between itself and the body, three air circulating portions 40, 40 and 40 which take air flowing in the space between the clothing material portion 20 and the body to the outside, two air sending means 50 and 50 for forcibly generating a flow of air in the space between the clothing material portion 20 and the body, and power supplying means 61 for supplying power to the air sending means 50 and 50. The air sending means 50 and 50 take outside air into the clothing material portion 20, and generate air flowing with a flow quantity of 6 liters/second. As a result, the air-conditioning garment can rapidly vaporize sweat, and hence the range in which the physiological cooler function originally included in a human body is effectively exercised can be expanded, thereby demonstrating a sufficient cooling effect.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a cooling device aimed spacer capable of flowing a lot of gas even by a lower pressure. Such a cooling device aimed spacer is used to form a cooling flow passage of a cooling device. The "cooling device" is to cool a user's body by flowing, by blowing means, a gas through a substantially flat flow passage formed at that side of the cooling device which contacts with the user's body. The cooling device aimed spacer comprises: a plurality of column-shaped members 32a each having a length component in the thickness direction of the cooling flow passage, and a plurality of connecting members 33a for connecting the tip ends of the plurality of column-shaped members 32a. The plurality of column-shaped members 32a are integrally formed to become physically continuous via base member 35. Further, the width of each of the column-shaped members 32a along a direction perpendicular to the gas-flowing direction is in a range of 0.2 mm to 1 cm when viewed from the thickness direction of the cooling flow passage; and the column-shaped members 32a are formed at a ratio of 0.1 to 25 pieces per 1 cm 2 when viewed from the thickness direction of the cooling flow passage.
Abstract:
Each of the cooling bedclothes, cooling seat cushion, cooling mat, cooling chair, cooling clothing and cooling shoes, to which the present invention is applied, has such a commonized structural feature to form the cooling flow passages in a substantially parallel and planar manner in the portion of such an article adjacent to the body, and utilizes such a commonized cooling effect to cause the ambient air at a temperature lower than the body temperature to flow through the cooling flow passages substantially parallelly to the body surface to thereby cool the body. Namely, the present invention forms, at a location extremely adjacent to the body surface of a person, an air layer having a temperature equal to that in the room without lowering the temperature of the whole room, thereby forcibly increasing the temperature gradient near the body surface to thereby increase the extent of heat release from the body, resulting in feeling of coolness. To form the air layer having the temperature equal to that in the room adjacently to the body surface, it is advisable to form a flow passage of air adjacently to the body surface, and to cause the air in the room to flow through the flow passage parallelly to the body surface. To form the flow passage, each of the embodiments of the present invention adopts a spacer having a suitable configuration.
Abstract:
The present invention provides: a cooling pillow which is easy to prepare, whose cooling capability lasts for a long time, which does not require a time-consuming operation such as changing the water, and which is effective in a hard-to-sleep summer night or when one has a fever from a cold; a cooling garment which has a reduced power consumption, allows one to avoid heat with a simple structure, and allows one to be comfortable even in a high temperature environment; and a cooling helmet capable of eliminating the discomfort caused by heat, preventing exhaustion of stamina, lowering of concentration, and lowering of work efficiency, and increasing the safety during work, etc. The above-described cooling pillow, the cooling garment and the cooling helmet are all based on a principle that by allowing air to flow in close contact with a fibrous material which is in the vicinity of the body and contains a sufficient amount of water to promote vaporization of water so that the head, the trunk, etc., can be cooled by absorption of the vaporization heat thereupon. Accordingly, they comprise a fan for supplying air, a passageway for passing the air therethrough, a vaporization sheet defining the passageway and containing water, etc.
