Abstract:
The present invention provides a spacer adapted to improve a ventilating ability and having excellent mass-productivity. Such a spacer is formed in a substantially flat shape so as to contact with an object by at least one surface of the spacer which is substantially perpendicular to the thickness direction of the spacer. The spacer comprises: a plurality of column-shaped members 12a having length components in the thickness direction, and a plurality of connecting members 13a for connecting the tip ends of the plurality of column-shaped members 12a. The plurality of column-shaped members 12a are integrally formed to be physically and continuously joined via base member 15. Concretely, this spacer is formed by injection molding of soft plastics. Such a constitution allows air to naturally flow through the interior of the spacer, and enables to reduce the contacting area of an object at that side thereof which contacts with the spacer.
Abstract:
There is provided a human-body aimed spacer for restricting rugged feeling, which is flexible and light-weighted and requires only a smaller storage space. The spacer comprises a number of convex parts 20, and flexible connecting portions 26. The convex parts 20 each comprises: a frame-like portion 21 formed at a side contacting with a human body; four column portions 22, each having one end continuing to the frame-like portion, and each being formed to rise from the frame-like portion; and a rising-portion integrator 23 for interconnecting the other ends of the column portions 22 with one another. The flexible connecting portions 26 each interconnect adjacent ones of the frame-like portions 21 with each other. The spacer is configured to contact with a human body at the side where the frame-like portions 21 are formed, and to abut on a cushion or the like at the side where the rising-portion integrators are formed.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a cooling device aimed spacer capable of flowing a lot of gas even by a lower pressure. Such a cooling device aimed spacer is used to form a cooling flow passage of a cooling device. The "cooling device" is to cool a user's body by flowing, by blowing means, a gas through a substantially flat flow passage formed at that side of the cooling device which contacts with the user's body. The cooling device aimed spacer comprises: a plurality of column-shaped members 32a each having a length component in the thickness direction of the cooling flow passage, and a plurality of connecting members 33a for connecting the tip ends of the plurality of column-shaped members 32a. The plurality of column-shaped members 32a are integrally formed to become physically continuous via base member 35. Further, the width of each of the column-shaped members 32a along a direction perpendicular to the gas-flowing direction is in a range of 0.2 mm to 1 cm when viewed from the thickness direction of the cooling flow passage; and the column-shaped members 32a are formed at a ratio of 0.1 to 25 pieces per 1 cm 2 when viewed from the thickness direction of the cooling flow passage.
Abstract:
Each of the cooling bedclothes, cooling seat cushion, cooling mat, cooling chair, cooling clothing and cooling shoes, to which the present invention is applied, has such a commonized structural feature to form the cooling flow passages in a substantially parallel and planar manner in the portion of such an article adjacent to the body, and utilizes such a commonized cooling effect to cause the ambient air at a temperature lower than the body temperature to flow through the cooling flow passages substantially parallelly to the body surface to thereby cool the body. Namely, the present invention forms, at a location extremely adjacent to the body surface of a person, an air layer having a temperature equal to that in the room without lowering the temperature of the whole room, thereby forcibly increasing the temperature gradient near the body surface to thereby increase the extent of heat release from the body, resulting in feeling of coolness. To form the air layer having the temperature equal to that in the room adjacently to the body surface, it is advisable to form a flow passage of air adjacently to the body surface, and to cause the air in the room to flow through the flow passage parallelly to the body surface. To form the flow passage, each of the embodiments of the present invention adopts a spacer having a suitable configuration.
Abstract:
The present invention provides: a cooling pillow which is easy to prepare, whose cooling capability lasts for a long time, which does not require a time-consuming operation such as changing the water, and which is effective in a hard-to-sleep summer night or when one has a fever from a cold; a cooling garment which has a reduced power consumption, allows one to avoid heat with a simple structure, and allows one to be comfortable even in a high temperature environment; and a cooling helmet capable of eliminating the discomfort caused by heat, preventing exhaustion of stamina, lowering of concentration, and lowering of work efficiency, and increasing the safety during work, etc. The above-described cooling pillow, the cooling garment and the cooling helmet are all based on a principle that by allowing air to flow in close contact with a fibrous material which is in the vicinity of the body and contains a sufficient amount of water to promote vaporization of water so that the head, the trunk, etc., can be cooled by absorption of the vaporization heat thereupon. Accordingly, they comprise a fan for supplying air, a passageway for passing the air therethrough, a vaporization sheet defining the passageway and containing water, etc.
