PURPOSE: A skin condition measuring method is provided to measure a skin condition using a parameter data value which is defined by a skin condition level and a correlation index. CONSTITUTION: A parameter is defined by a skin condition level and a correlation index(S110). Parameter data are collected wherein the parameter data is set in a skin by a measuring unit of a measuring device(S120). Collected parameters are analyzed, a skin condition level is determined according to a parameter data value, and the determined skin condition level is provided(S130). A parameter includes at least one element from a group which includes a skin moisture amount, skin brightness, a skin melanin index, and a skin erythema index.

PURPOSE: A hair composition containing red ginseng extract and Mori Radicis Cortex or Scutellariae radix extract is provided to strengthen hair roots and to be used in various hair products. CONSTITUTION: A hair composition for strengthening hair roots contains 0.01-10.0 weight% of red ginseng extract, Mori Radicis Cortex extract, or Scutellariae radix extract as an active ingredient. The hair composition is manufactured in the form of hair tonic, hair lotion, hair essence, hair serum scalp treatment, hair treatment, hair conditioner, or hair shampoo. The red ginseng extract is prepared by ultrasonic wave extraction. The Mori Radicis Cortex extract is prepared by extracting at low temperature. The Scutellariae radix extract is prepared by extracting with 1,3-butylene glycol and a water mixture and macerating.

A screening method of pigmentation regulatory agents by using zebrafish(Danio rerio) is provided to screen a large quantity of materials capable of increasing or inhibiting melanin formation as pigmentation regulatory agents easily and rapidly by determining various biological parameters from zebrafish. A screening method of pigmentation regulatory agents by using zebrafish comprises the steps of: administering a candidate pigmentation regulatory agent into an embryo of zebrafish; and detecting the reactions of zebrafish including expression amount of melanin formation, and in vivo activity, expression amount or transition amount of proteins associated with melanin formation, wherein the screening method optionally comprises a detecting step of toxicity of the candidate material by measuring morphological change or heartbeat number.

Provided are a hydroxybenzoic acid amide compound which suppresses the generation of melanin, its preparation method, and a whitening cosmetic composition containing the compound. The hydroxybenzoic acid amide compound is represented by the formula 1, wherein R1 and R2 are H or OH. The method comprises the steps of dissolving hydroxybenzoic acid in a solvent, adding a catalyst and a base drop by drop, and reacting it with acetic anhydride to prepare an acetylated compound represented by the formula II; dissolving the acetylated compound of the formula II in a solvent and adding a base, ethyl chloroformate and adamantamine to prepare an amide compound represented by the formula III; and reacting the amine compound of the formula III with a base to hydrolyze it (See the reaction scheme 1), wherein R3 and R4 is H or an acetoxy group.
