PURPOSE: A pharmaceutical composition containing homoisoflavanone is provided to suppress generation of COX-2(cyclooxygenase 2), pre-inflammatory cytokine, and leukotriene B4 and degranulation of mast cells. CONSTITUTION: A pharmaceutical composition for treating and preventing inflammatory diseases contains homoisoflavanone of chemical formula 1 or its phartmaceutically acceptable salt as an active ingredient. In chemical formula 1, R is H, OH, or OCnH2n+1(n is 1-6) The inflammatory dermatitis is skin inflammation, acute and chronic eczema, contact dermatitis, atopic dermatitis, seborrheic dermatitis, and lichen simplex chronius.
Abstract:
A cosmetic composition comprising sargachromenol is provided to induce apoptosis on human keratinocyte significantly, thereby being usefully used in order to prevent and improving skin diseases caused by skin aging, photo-aging and pigmentation. A cosmetic composition for preventing and improving skin diseases comprises sargachromenol represented by a formula(1) and isolated from Sargassum sagamianum as an effective ingredient, wherein the skin disease is a skin disease caused by proliferation of keratinocyte such as skin aging, photo-aging, and a pigmentation disease.

Provided are a ceramide derivative which promotes apoptosis, its preparation method, and a cosmetic composition and a pharmaceutical composition for the treatment of skin disease or cancer containing the derivative or its salt. The ceramide derivative is represented by the formula 2, wherein R1 is H or a C1-C14 alkyl group; R2 is H, a hydroxyl group or a C1-C11 alkyl group; R3 is a 6-methyl-pentadeca-1,5,7-triene group, a 1-hydroxy-nonadeca-11-ene group or a nonadeca-1,11-diene group; and R4 is H or a C1-C6 alkoxy group. The method comprises the steps of extracting a starfish with an organic solvent; concentrating the extract under reduced pressure and fractionating the concentrated one with a solvent mixture of methanol and hexane according to polarity to obtain an active fraction; and separating and purifying the active fraction by chromatography. Preferably the starfish is Distolasterias nipon.

본 발명은 자운영 추출물 또는 분획을 포함하는 염증성 피부질환 예방 또는 치료용 조성물에 관한 것으로, 더욱 상세하게는 자운영 추출물 또는 분획을 유효성분으로 포함하는 염증성 피부질환 예방 또는 치료용 약학적 조성물, 자운영 추출물 또는 분획을 유효성분으로 포함하는 염증성 피부질환 예방 또는 개선용 식품 조성물에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 자운영 추출물 또는 분획물은 염증을 촉진시키는 NF-kB, JAK/STAT, PI3K/Akt 경로의 활성을 억제하고, 염증 매개 인자들의 발현을 저해하므로, 염증성 피부 질환을 치료하는데 효과적이다.

본 발명은 건선 특이적 메틸화 경향을 보이는 유전자 프로모터의 메틸화 수준 검출에 관한 것으로, 더욱 상세하게는 건선 진단에 필요한 정보를 제공하기 위한 X 염색체에 위치한 유전자의 프로모터의 메틸화 검출 방법 및 상기 메틸화 수준을 측정할 수 있는 제제를 포함하는 건선진단용 조성물에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 방법 및 조성물은 건선 피부 질환의 진단에 있어 유전학적 정보를 제공할 수 있어 건선 진단에 효과적이다.
