Abstract: A steering wheel and a method of manufacturing the steering wheel are provided to divide a steering wheel into an outer rim and an inner rim to which a soft material is bonded and respectively form the outer rim and the inner rim to improve the exterior of the steering wheel and reduce the weight of the steering wheel. A steering wheel includes a boss(1) and a rim(7). The boss is combined with a steering column. The rim is divided into an outer rim and an inner rim. The outer rim surrounds an armature which forms the rim. A wood pattern is transferred onto the surface of the outer rim. The inner rim is combined with the outer rim. A surface material is bonded to the surface of the inner rim.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A snap-fit structure of an airbag to prevent from rattling is provided to prevent the imbalance of the left and right gaps of an airbag when mounting the airbag in a steering wheel and prevent the airbag from separating due to the loss of a coupling force because a latching unit is bent in the external shock. CONSTITUTION: A snap-fit structure(100) of an airbag to prevent from rattling comprises a first latching unit(110), a second latching unit(120), a guide hole(130), a latching hole, a stealing, and a guide pin. The second latching unit and the guide hole supports a spreading force of the airbag of a driver seat. The stealing is coupled with the second latching unit and is formed in a U-shape. The guide pin is arranged in the position corresponded to the guide hole.

Abstract: 본 발명은 스티어링 휠의 림부를 동심원상의 내/외측에 배치되면서 우드패턴이 형성된 경질의 외관 소재인 외측 림부와 연질의 유연 소재인 표피재가 접합된 내측 림부로 각각 분할하여 형성함으로써 스티어링 휠이 가지는 외관미의 향상을 도모함과 더불어, 내측 림부의 내부에 공간부를 형성하여 스티어링 휠의 전체 중량을 감소시켜 아이들링시 스티어링 휠의 진동을 줄일 수 있도록 하는 데 그 목적이 있다.
전술한 목적을 달성하기 위한 본 발명은, 조향축에 결합되는 보스부(1)와, 상기 보스부(1)를 중심으로 다수의 스포크(3)를 매개로 동심원상으로 배치되는 림부(7)를 갖춘 스티어링 휠에 있어서, 상기 림부(7)는 상기 보스부(1)를 중심으로 반경방향으로 외측 전 둘레에 걸쳐 배치된 외측 림부(9)와 내측 전 둘레에 걸쳐 배치된 내측 림부(11)로 분할하고, 상기 외측 림부(9)는 상기 림부(7)를 형성하는 아마츄어(5)의 전 둘레를 감싸고 표면에 우드패턴(A)을 전사하며, 상기 내측 림부(11)는 상기 외측 림부(9)에 결합되고 표면에 표피재(B)를 접합한 것을 특징으로 한다.
