CONSTITUTION: A front frame structure of a vehicle comprises a pair of side members(10,15), an I-shaped sub frame(20) and a cross member(30). The I-shaped sub frame is connected to the back and the front of each lower part of the side members. The cross member is connected to the front parts of the side members. Both ends of the cross member are coupled with a pair of fender apron upper members. The cross member has a U shape. The cross member includes a body(40) and a supporting member(50).

    Abstract: PURPOSE: A dash panel frame of a vehicle is provided to ensure a lot of rigidity on the vehicle collision and to efficiently absorb the shock in the collision with a pedestrian. CONSTITUTION: A dash panel frame of a vehicle comprises a cowl panel(100), an upper cross member(200), a lower cross member(300), and a side connecting member(500). The cowl panel is installed over the dash panel(30) in the width direction of the vehicle. Both ends of the cowl panel are fixed to the side frame(12) of the vehicle body. The upper cross member is installed at the edge at which the cowl panel and the dash panel meet, along the cowl panel. Both ends of the upper cross member are fixed to the side frame of the vehicle body. The lower cross member is installed under the dash panel in the width direction of the vehicle. The side connecting member connects each end of the upper cross member to the facing end of the lower cross member.
