A diagnosing primer is provided to diagnose respectively or simultaneously rice black-streaked dwarf virus(RBSDV), rice dwarf virus(RDV) and rice stripe virus(RSV) through RT-PCR species-specifically. A primer for diagnosing at least one virus selected from the group consisting of RBSDV, RDV and RSV is characterized in that it comprises a primer pair selected from the group consisting of a primer pair described as SEQ ID : NOs. 4 and 9 and a primer pair described as SEQ ID : NOs. 4 and 7; a primer pair selected from the group consisting of a primer pair described as SEQ ID : NOs. 16 and 24, a primer pair described as SEQ ID : NOs. 17 and 24, a primer pair described as SEQ ID : NOs. 18 and 23, a primer pair described as SEQ ID : NOs. 21 and 33, and a primer pair described as SEQ ID : NOs. 21 and 34; and a primer pair selected from the group consisting of a primer pair described as SEQ ID : NOs. 40 and 46 and a primer pair described as SEQ ID : NOs. 41 and 46. A method for diagnosing the virus comprises a step of subjecting a genome RNA of a virus sample as a template to RT-PCR using the primer.
