Abstract: 본 발명은 영상처리를 이용한 풋고추 선별기에 관한 것으로서, 영상처리를 통해 선별작업의 객관화와 정밀선별을 이룸으로서 인건비와 인력에 의한 기존의 선별작업노력 및 시간을 절감시켜 작업효율을 극대화시키는 효과를 나타내게 된다.
이를 실현하기 위한 본 발명의 선별기는, 공급대(10)를 통해 개별적으로 공급되어진 풋고추가 이송트레이(30)에 의해 이송되어지는 가운데 등급별 선별이 이루어짐에 있어서: 상기 이송트레이(30)에 의한 이송이 이루어지는 풋고추에 대한 영상을 획득하는 영상처리부(20); 상기 획득되어진 영상신호가 인터페이스케이블(27a)을 통해 전송되어짐으로서 풋고추의 길이 및 굴곡형태를 파악하여 등급을 선별하기 위한 선별알고리즘 및 프로그램이 내장되어진 컴퓨터(27)와, 선별된 결과신호를 전송하는 제어부(29)를 구비하고 있는 영상선별부; 상기 제어부(29)로 부터 전송된 신호에 의해 각 해당위치에서 압축공기를 분사함으로서 풋고추를 선별적으로 배출시키도록 설치되어진 다수의 에어젯 노즐(46); 상기 에어젯 노즐(46)로 부터 가해진 압축공기에 의해 배출되어지는 풋고추를 해당 배출수집상자(61)로 안내하기 위한 배출대(60);를 포함하여 구성되어짐을 특징으로 한다.
