    Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for transforming a plant using Agrobacteria is provided to remarkably improve transformation efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A method for trasforming a plant body using Agrobacteria comprises a step of removing albumen from the plant body and co-culturing the plant body with the Agrobacteria containing a recombinant expression vector for 7 or more days. The plant is cultured is cultured in an N6 meidum containing 1-3 mg/L of 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid at 25-32 Deg. C. for 4-7 days before removing albumen. The plant body is a callus of Oryza sativa. The Agrobacteria is Agrobacterium thumefacience strain LBA4404.

CONSTITUTION: An StMyb(Solanum tuberosum Myb) polypeptide comprises an amino acid of sequence number 1. An StMyb polynucleotide has a gene sequence of sequence number 2. The intracellular increase of StMyb polypeptide is performed by transforming a plant with a vector containing the polynucleotide and a promoter.
