본 발명은 액티브 노드와 유사한 특성을 가지는 이웃 노드의 관리 방법에 관한 것으로, 적어도 하나의 이웃 노드에 관한 정보를 포함하는 이웃 리스트를 생성하는 단계; 이웃 노드 중에서 부모 노드를 선택하는 단계; 액티브 노드, 액티브 노드의 이웃 리스트에 포함된 이웃 노드, 및 부모 노드의 이웃 리스트에 포함된 이웃 노드의 특성값을 이용하여 적합도 파라미터를 결정하는 단계; 및 적합도 파라미터에 기초하여 액티브 노드의 이웃 리스트를 갱신하는 단계를 포함하도록 함으로써, 이웃 노드의 검색 시간을 줄일 수 있는 효과가 있다.
Abstract:
An apparatus and a method for managing user's schedule are provided to add a reservation message received from a service providing server in which service is reserved to user's schedule information to update, thereby conveniently managing the schedule even though user's schedule information is not updated. A schedule managing device receives a reservation message from a service provider to whom a user reserves service(S810). The schedule managing device updates user's schedule by using information included in the reservation message. Only selected information among the information of the reservation message based on a user's input signal can be updated in the user's schedule(S820). The updated user's schedule is provided. An automatic update setting icon can be provided to update reservation messages sent from respective service providers automatically(S830).

An apparatus and a method for managing a personal schedule and a broadcasting program are provided to manage the personal schedule and the broadcasting program collectively and effectively by linking a personal schedule management device with a broadcasting program information-offering system. A schedule management unit(110) manages a personal schedule. A broadcasting program management unit(120) manages broadcasting program information. A user interface unit(130) receives a user input signal. A controller(140) searches the broadcasting program information overlapping the personal schedule, generating a broadcasting program list including the searched broadcasting program, and offering at least a list for displaying personal schedule and the broadcasting program list. The controller offers a unit for performing a control operation according to input of a user along with the broadcasting program information included in the broadcasting program list so that the user performs operations related to the broadcasting programs.

PURPOSE: A backplane board of an SCSI(Small Computer System Interface) is provided to maximally install four disks, to support the function of an SAF-TE(SCSI Accessed Fault-Tolerant Enclosure), a wide ultra-3 LVD SCSI(Low Voltage Differential Small Computer System Interface), a wide ultra-2, and an ultra-SE(Single-Ended), to make a disk removable while power is turned on, and to realize hot-spare function. CONSTITUTION: A backplane board of an SCSI comprises an EPLD(Erasab1e Programmab1e Logic Device) logic unit to perform general control of an SCSI backplane board, SCSI ID(Identification) registration, disk ID selection, and device power control, an SAF-TE logic unit to perform 8-bit asynchronous SCSI data transmission, to provide a master/slave I2C bus, and to control the device slot state, power supply state, fan state, temperature state, and an SCSI bus motion mode, and a terminator logic unit to support SCSI 1, 2 and 3, a fast SCSI, and ultra 2 and 3, to provide active termination and multi-mode LVD/SE terminations, and to automatically select LVD or SE termination.

PURPOSE: A method for automatically testing the stability and basic performance of server is provided to automatically, accurately and integrally test the stability and basic performance of server without an error. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises steps of setting up a BIOS(Basic Input Output System)(11) and booting an operating system(13), installing an automatic test program read from a subsidiary server after booting the operating system(15), searching, displaying and storing the basic information by automatically recognizing a plurality of hardware installed to the server according to the automatic test program(17), storing the test procedure and result by testing the compatibility of hardware based on the stored basic information according to the automatic test program(19), and automatically displaying the stored basic information of a plurality of hardware and the test result after completing the compatibility test of hardware(21).
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A hard disk device of an IDE(Integrated Device Electronics) type and a controlling method thereof are provided to connect plural storing instruments to one port of a controller circuit. CONSTITUTION: One port of a controller circuit and plural storing instruments are connected by an IDE bridge. In a booted state of a system, hardware information for each storing instrument is requested through the IDE bridge. The IDE bridge combines the hardware information for generating virtual storing instrument information. Then, the virtual storing instrument information is transferred to the controller circuit. A virtual target address is read for sampling an address for a real storing instrument corresponding to the virtual target address. A command is transferred to the sampled address. Data is transferred between the controller circuit and the address of the real storing instrument through a separate data transfer loop.

PURPOSE: A method for registering an interface handler identification(ID) is provided to simplify a registering procedure between a server and a client to improve a program executing speed, and to easily execute analyzing processes by coding processes, by transmitting registered information of the server to the client after storing registered information of the client, when the client requests the interface handler ID without firstly registering the registering procedure of the interface handler ID in the server. CONSTITUTION: A method for registering an interface handler identification(ID) between a server and a client in an object-oriented system comprises the steps of: if the client requests a registering procedure, making the server store information of the client; transmitting the information to the client; and making the client store the information.
