Abstract: A self adaptive MIMO(Multiple Input Multiple Output) transceiving system and a method thereof are provided to enhance a function of a space division reuse system when occurring a problem about a correlation property in antenna fading, to satisfy target error rate and to have a more function gain than a conventional self adaptive method by making each code stream have the same error rate in a transmission mode. A self adaptive MIMO(Multiple Input Multiple Output) transceiving system comprises an SP(Serial Parallel) converter(101), channel code units(102a-n), constellation mapping units(107a-n) and transmission power controllers(106a-n). The SP converter(101) distributes inputted raw information bit streams into plural parallel sub code streams according to information on an antenna set. The channel code units(102a-n) perform a single channel encoding process regarding the distributed sub code streams. The constellation mapping units(107a-n) perform a constellation mapping process for the streams which pass the single channel encoding process according to a constellation mapping scheme. The transmission power controllers(106a-n) apply different power weighting factors to the data code streams according to the transmission power information, and transmit the data code streams to receivers.
