Abstract: A polarizing plate assembly, a manufacturing method thereof, and a panel assembly manufacturing method using the same are provided to prevent the deterioration of display quality due to static electricity by absorbing the static electricity generated in separating an adhesive layer protection film from the polarizing plate assembly by a static electricity preventing unit. A polarizing plate assembly(100) includes a polarizing plate(110) for polarizing the light in a predetermined direction; an adhesive layer(130) formed on one surface of the polarizing plate; an adhesive layer protection film(140) attached on the adhesive layer; and a static electricity preventing unit(150) for absorbing static electricity generated in separating the adhesive layer protection film, wherein the static electricity preventing unit is a conductive layer formed on the outer surface of the adhesive layer protection film.

Abstract: An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) is provided to prevent defect of a screen due to contraction or expansion of a polarizing plate according to temperature and humidity of surrounding environment by constituting the polarizing plate to be larger than an LCD panel. An LCD comprises an LCD panel assembly, a backlight assembly, and upper and lower containers(300,160) receiving the LCD panel assembly and the backlight assembly. The LCD panel assembly includes an LCD panel(210) and a driving assembly. The LCD panel includes a first display substrate(211), a second display substrate(212), and a liquid crystal layer formed between the first and second display substrates. A polarizing plate(410) includes a first polarizing plate(411) attached to the lower surface of the first display substrate and a second polarizing plate(412) attached to the upper surface of the second display substrate. The first polarizing plate is larger than the first display substrate, and the second polarizing plate is larger than the second display substrate.
