Abstract: PURPOSE: A screen control method of a portable terminal and apparatus thereof are provided to enable a user to easily confirm previous screens by executing an image view application. CONSTITUTION: A control unit displays an information screen which is able to be scrolled by a user on a display unit(201). In case a direction of a multi touch sweep is a down direction, the control unit moves a current display screen at the bottom of the information screen(203, 204). In case a single touch sweep is inputted, the control unit scrolls the information screen according to a moving speed, a moving distance, and a moving direction(207, 208).

Abstract: A method for displaying windows in a communication terminal is provided to enable a user to confirm information easily to be overlooked by announcing unconfirmed events periodically or according to the user's request. Abstract: A method for setting up the output volume of audio signals to prevent an acoustic shock and a mobile terminal for the same are provided to previously prevent an acoustic shock by outputting audio signals after determining an output volume value by a preset reference volume value. If a call is terminated, a control part judges whether the terminated call is a picture call or a voice call(200,210). In case that the terminated call is a picture call, the control part displays a call connection screen when a call connection is made.
