    Abstract: Provided is an improved indoor unit of an air conditioner, wherein the indoor unit is to improve a suction structure, a discharge structure, and an air flow path structure in the indoor unit in order to improve the operation efficiency of the indoor unit, in order to reduce the noise of the indoor unit, and in order to miniaturize the size of the indoor unit; and is to control the discharge direction of air discharged from the indoor unit in order to discharge the air to a wide indoor space. An indoor unit of an air conditioner according to the present invention comprises: a housing including a front panel having multiple openings, and a rear panel coupled to the rear side of the front panel and having multiple inlets; at least one heat exchanger placed inside the housing; multiple mixed flow fan units including a diffuser having an outlet exposed to the front side of the front panel through the opening, a duct coupled to the diffuser and guiding air, which exchanges heat through the heat exchanger after sucked through the inlet, to the outlet, a mixed flow fan allowing the air to forcibly flow from the inlet to the outlet, and a driving motor driving the mixed flow fan; and multiple fixing frames arranged inside the housing and to which the ducts of the mixed flow fan units are coupled, wherein the ducts coupled to the fixing frames are able to rotate, and the mixed flow fan units coupled to the fixing frames discharge the air in respectively different discharge directions up and down.

The indoor unit of the air conditioner comprises a housing, one or more outlets, one or more inlets, one or more heat exchangers, and one or more mixed flow fans. The housing comprises a front panel on which one or more opening units are formed and a back panel connected to a back side of the front panel. One or more outlets are exposed to the front side of the front panel through the opening units. One or more inlets are formed in the back panel corresponding to the outlets.     Abstract: An air conditioner of the present invention includes: a front panel formed with an opening; a housing including a back panel combined to the back of the front panel; a jet fan arranged on the back of the front panel, with the ability to rotate; a discharging outlet exposed to the front of the front panel, through the opening; and a diffuser arranged in front of the jet fan. The diffuser includes: a circular disk plate arranged on the center of the discharging outlet; a circular grill which is combined and fixed to the outer circumference of the discharging outlet; and a blade arranged in between the disk plate and the grill to guide the air blowing from the jet fan. The circular inner diameter of the grill is gradually elongated when passing the grill from the rear to the front. Thereby composition contributes to an increased operation efficiency of an indoor unit (10), by increasing the divergence angle of the grill and a flow path dispersion tube, and to an increased discharging capacity, along with a reduction in noise when discharging.
