Disclosed is a method for preventing transmission delay occurring when transmitting packet data to a destination in a transmission module including a first memory having a first memory area for storing packet data to be transmitted and a second memory area for backing up the first memory area, a second memory connected to a transmission link, and a frame processor. The method comprises storing a copy of the packet data stored in the second memory area according to a state of the second memory; deleting the packet data stored in the second memory area if copy of the packet data stored in the second memory is transmitted; determining whether packet data combining is possible according to a state of the second memory area; and if the packet data combining is possible, combining the packet data stored in the first memory area with the packet data stored in the second memory area and storing the combined packet data in the second memory.

PURPOSE: An apparatus and method for minimizing transmission delay in a data communication system is provided to prevent the transmission delay of packet data by temporarily storing the packet data to be transmitted to a transmitting buffer in a backup queue, directly transmitting the packet data when the transmitting buffer is in an idle state, and aggregating and transmitting newly received packet data and the previously received packet data in case that the transmitting buffer is in a busy state. CONSTITUTION: A transmission module for aggregation consists of a transmission management part(110) and a transmission protocol engine part(120). The transmission management part(110) covers the management of transmission data and preprocessing for a protocol header. The transmission protocol engine part(120) transmits actual packet data according to a transmission protocol. The transmission management part(110) is composed of a transmitting queue(111) and a frame processor(113). The transmitting queue(111) stores data for data management. The frame processor(113) aggregates the packet data stored in the transmitting queue(111). In addition, the transmission management part(110) comprises a backup queue(112) that temporarily stores the packet data to be transmitted to the transmission protocol engine part(120).

PURPOSE: An apparatus for updating a neighboring list in a mobile communication system and a method thereof are provided to update a neighboring list to which the micro base stations are reflected in an wireless environment in which micro base stations are installed/removed by a user. CONSTITUTION: A terminal for updating a neighboring list in a mobile communication system stores the first log information when the connection with the first base station is cut off(200,202), performs a network entry procedure with the second base station after the connection is cut off(204), and generates/transmits the second log information to the second base station(210).

본 발명은 무선통신 시스템, 특히 무선 근거리 네트워크 시스템에서 응집된 매체 액세스 제어 프로토콜 데이터 유닛들의 전송 방법 및 그 시스템에 관한 것이다. 이러한 본 발명에 따르면, 매체접근제어 계층(MAC)은 상위 계층으로부터 전달된 서비스 데이터를 다수의 매체접근제어 패킷데이터유닛(MPDU)들로 분할하여 상기 분할된 다수의 MAC MPDU들을 구성하며, 순차적으로 배치된 상기 MAC MPDU들과 상기 MAC MPDU들을 구별하기 위한 경계 정보와 상기 MAC MPDU들의 전송 오류 여부를 확인하기 위한 응답 요청 정보를 하나의 전송 프레임을 구성하여 전송한다. 따라서, 본 발명은 무선 근거리 네트워크 시스템에서 서비스 영역을 확대하고, 전송 지연을 최소화하여 서비스 효율성을 증가시킨다.
Abstract:
A power saving method of a portable communication device is provided to allow a terminal to wake up at a proper time by using an estimated timing offset value of beacon frames, thereby reducing power consumption caused by premature wakeup. A wireless communication system includes an access point transmitting beacon frames and paging frames, and a terminal compensating timing offsets with the access point using beacon frames and detecting a position thereof using the paging frames. The terminal is operated in an active mode in which data transmission/reception is actually performed and a power saving mode in which power consumption is reduced when there is no transmission/reception data. A paging timing offset generated for a reception interval of the paging frame is calculated by using a beacon frame of the beacon frames. A paging frame of the paging frames is received after a lapse of a time corresponding to a paging timing offset in the power saving mode.

본 발명은 통신 시스템에서, 매체 접속 제어(MAC: Medium Access Control) 서비스 데이터 유닛(MSDU: MAC Service Data Unit)을 기반으로 MAC 프로토콜 데이터 유닛(MPDU: MAC Protocol Data Unit)의 초기 전송 및 재전송을 위한 전송 허용 횟수 을 설정하고, 수신기로 전송할 MSDU가 발생하면, 상기 MSDU를 N개의 MPDU들로 프래그멘테이션한 후, 상기 N개의 MPDU들을 상기 전송 허용 횟수 내에서 상기 수신기로 초기 전송 혹은 재전송함으로써 MSDU 정상 수신확률을 증가시켜 시스템 전체 성능을 향상시킨다.

An uplink scheduling method for considering a power amplifier in a mobile communication terminal and a device therefor are provided to calculate packet transmission time having maximum energy efficiency by considering correlation between energy and transmission time of information bits, and to perform uplink scheduling by using the calculated time, thereby reducing energy consumption. A transmission time calculator(301) calculates packet transmission time having minimum energy consumed in case of packet transmission by using nonlinear amplification efficiency and a DC(Direct Current) voltage used for signal amplification in a power amplifier. A scheduling unit(303) schedules uplink data by using the calculated packet transmission time. The transmission time calculator calculates transmission time of one information bit and channel capacity for each of packet transmission power, and calculates transmission energy of the one information bit by using the calculated time.
