Abstract: PURPOSE: An air bag housing for a vehicle passenger seat is provided to improve safety by minimizing injuries due to the collision of an air bag housing and reduce the weight of a vehicle. CONSTITUTION: An air bag housing for a vehicle passenger(1) comprises a main housing(20), a door mounting bracket(10), a support bracket(30), and a cross bracket(40). The air bag cushion is mounted on the upper side of the main housing. An inflator is installed on the lower surface of the main housing. The door mounting bracket mounts the air bag housing inside an instrument panel. The door mounting bracket comprises a main housing and a place space mounting an air bag cushion. The support bracket vertically connects the main housing and the door mounting bracket. The cross bracket vertically crosses the support bracket.
