Abstract: 본 발명은 조록나무 (
Distylium

racemosum )추출물을 유효성분으로 함유하는 항산화, 미백 및 피부주름생성억제효과를 갖는 화장료조성물에 관한 것이다. 조록나무 추출물에는 화학식 1로 표시되는 1,2,3,4,6-penta-O-galloyl-β-D -glucopyranose(이하 "PGG"라 약칭한다) 화합물을 포함하고 있으며, 이 PGG 화합물이 항산화, 미백 및 항주름 효능을 포함한 피부노화방지효과를 나타낸다. 본 발명은 또한, 조록나무 추출물로부터 PGG의 분리·정제방법을 제공한다. 본 발명의 조록나무 추출물에 함유되어 있는 PGG 화합물은 항산화, 멜라닌 생성 저해작용, 멜라닌 생성관련 유전자 발현조절, elastase 저해작용 등을 가지고 있다.

Abstract: A cosmetic composition containing the extract of Isodon inflexus is provided to inhibit production of melanin and improve use safety by using natural product or compound extracted therefrom, thereby whitening the skin safely and effectively. The skin-whitening cosmetic composition contains 0.0001-10 wt.% of the extract of Isodon inflexus or the solvent fraction of Isodon inflexus extract including excisanin A represented by the chemical formula(1) which is prepared with the extraction solvent selected from methanol, ethanol, hexane, ethylacetate, dimethyl formamide, tetrahydrofuran, chloroform and diethylether.

Abstract: A cosmetic composition containing the extract of Cassia mimosoides var. nomame is provided to inhibit activity of elastase and MMP-1(Matrix metalloproteinase-1) and oxidation by removing reactive oxygen species without skin irritation and harmful effects on human, so that the composition is useful for preventing and improving skin aging and wrinkles. A cosmetic composition for preventing and improving skin aging and wrinkles contains the extract of Cassia mimosoides var. nomame, which contains luteolin represented by the formula(1) as effective ingredient, and is prepared by suspending Cassia mimosoides var. nomame in methanol, and sequentially adding hexane, ethylacetate and butanol into the suspension, and is a cosmetic, pharmaceutical or food composition.
