Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for reinforcing a barrier function of a cell, by reinforcing the function or increasing gene expression by having an NADPH-quinone-oxidoreductase-1 (NQO1) gene or a protein expressed therefrom, as a target molecule. More specifically, the present invention is based on a cell barrier function relating to worsening of an inflammation of a large intestine epithelial cell of a human or a mammal, and an NQO1 gene adjusting the cell barrier function, to suppress the worsening of the inflammation caused by a loss of the barrier function of the large intestine epithelial cell and provide a treatment for effectively treating various acute and chronic enteritis diseases.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A Parkinson's disease model mouse, a preparation method thereof, and a screening method for Parkinson's disease using the same are provided to be utilized for pathological mechanism researches. CONSTITUTION: A Parkinson's disease model mouse lacks a CR6-interacting factor 1 gene in the dopamine type neuron cells. A preparation method of the Parkinson's disease model mouse comprises the following steps: obtaining a CRIF1 heterozygous knockout first generation mouse having CRIF1 loxp/+ and DAT-Cre m/+ genotypes by crossing a CRIF1 loxp/loxp mouse and a DAT-Cre mouse; obtaining a second generation mouse by crossing the heterozygous knockout mouse and a CRIF1 loxp/loxp mouse; and selecting a CRIF1 homozygous knockout mouse having CRIF1 loxp/loxp and DAT-Cre m/+ genotypes from the second generation mouse.

Abstract:
PURPOSE: A composition for preventing and treating diseases accompanying mitochondrial dysfunction is provided to use in researching mediate which performs signal transduction between the mitochondria and nucleus. CONSTITUTION: A composition for preventing and treating diseases accompanying mitochondrial dysfunction contains CRIF1(CR6(Gadd45gamma) Interacting Factor 1) protein, DNA encoding the same or mRNA of the protein. The disease includes neurodegenerative diseases or anaplasia muscle disease. The diseases are cancer, diabetes, or metabolic syndrome. The cancer is colon cancer, thyroid cancer, or prostate cancer.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A mitochondria targeting domain is provided to transfer functional protein CRIF1 or foreign protein-fused CRIF1 to mitochondria and to target mitochondria by a material for treating mitochondria malfunction. CONSTITUTION: A mitochondria targeting domain is represented by sequence number 5. A gene encoding the domain is DNA, RNA, or PNA. The gene is denoted by base sequence number 10. The domain transfers CRIF1 protein and foreign protein to the mitochondria.
