Abstract:
The present invention relates to a composition including pellitorine as an active ingredient for alleviating contact dermatitis. A pellitorine compound which is an active ingredient of the composition according to the present invention is secreted in the early stage of various strong inflammatory diseases so as to control the secretion of IL-1beta which is cytokine promoting an inflammatory response and also control the proliferation of T cells and the secretion of IL-2, IL-4, or IFN-gamma which is cytokine secreted from T cells so that immunity can be regulated. Moreover, the compound exhibits activities in controlling the secretion of IL-1beta, inhibiting the decomposition cleavage of caspase-1, having no cytotoxicity, and decreasing skin thickness in contact dermatitis in an experiment using a contact dermatitis animal model as an animal model. Accordingly, it is expected that the composition of the present invention can be usefully used as a pharmaceutical composition, a cosmetic composition, or a functional food composition for preventing or treating inflammatory skin diseases like contact dermatitis.

The present invention relates to a method for detecting the methylation of a breast cancer-specific methylation marker gene for breast cancer diagnosis, and more particularly, to a method which involves detecting methylation of a breast cancer-specific methylation marker gene which is methylated specifically in a breast cancer cell, and provides information for the diagnosis of breast cancer or the stage of progression of breast cancer. When the methylation detection method of the present invention is used together with a diagnosis composition, a kit, and a nucleic acid chip, more accurate and quicker early diagnosis of breast cancer can be facilitated as compared to conventional methods, the stage of progression of breast cancer can be checked, and a non-invasive serum sample is made available, to thereby diagnose breast cancer in a more simple and accurate manner.

A composition of skin external preparation comprises 0.001-30 weight% of colostrums based on the total weight as an active ingredient. The composition has the effect of anti-allergy, anti-inflammation, keratin differentiation, skin moisturization, skin barrier strengthening, improvement of wrinkle care. The composition comprises only colostrums, or further comprises excipient, diluents, or anti-oxidant. The composition is used in a form of skin softener, lotion, nutrition cream, spray, granule, essence, powder, syrup, liquid, aerosol, ointment, suspension, capsule, or pill. The excipient is used by mixing with glycerin, starch, water, alcohol, propylene glycol, or saline solution.

PURPOSE: A method for detecting breast cancer using breast cancer-specific biomarker is provided to enable early diagnosis of breast cancer and to ensure simplicity and accuracy. CONSTITUTION: A method for detecting methylation of a biomarker for diagnosing breast cancer or progression comprises: a step of isolating DNA from a clinical sample; and a step of detecting methylation of TF gene(NM_001063, transferrin) from the isolated DNA. The clinical sample is tissue, sputum, cells, blood, plasma, or urine derived from a patient with cancer or possibility of cancer. A nucleic acid chip for diagnosing breast cancer contains a probe which is hybridiable with a fragment containing CpG of a promoter of the TF gene(NM_001063, iron binding transport protein, transferrin) under a severe condition.

CONSTITUTION: A method for methylation of a breast cancer-specific methylated marker comprises: a step of preparing a clinical sample containing DNA; a step of detecting CpG island methylation of OTP(NM_032109, Orthopedia Homeobox) from the DNA. The CpG island methylation is detected at an intron site of OTP gene. The intron of OTP gene has a base sequence of sequence number 1. A composition for diagnosing breast cancer contains GpG island of OTP gene.

본 발명은 유방암 특이적인 바이오마커를 이용한 유방암의 검출방법에 관한 것으로, 보다 구체적으로는, 유방암 특이적 발현감소 유전자인 CHL1 유전자{NM_006614, cell adhesion molecule with homology to L1CAM (close homolog of L1)} 또는 TF 유전자(NM_001063, 철이온 결합 수송 단백질, 트랜스페린)의 프로모터 부위의 메틸화된 CpG 섬을 포함하는 유방암 또는 그 진행단계 진단용 바이오마커 및 상기 바이오마커를 이용한 유방암 및 그 진행단계의 검출방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 바이오마커를 이용하면, 통상적인 방법보다 정확하고 빠르게 유방암의 조기 진단이 가능하며, 비침습적 시료인 혈청을 샘플로 이용할 수 있어, 보다 간편하고 정확하게 유방암을 진단할 수 있다.
